Small update on the offerings in the Dessert Sampler at Les Chefs de France a few weeks ago. In addition to the Creme Brulee and Strawberry Cake, there was an Almond Macaroon with Orange Sorbet and a chocolate dessert called Royal Mousse. The cost was $13.95 for the sampler. The sampler includes a little of everything on the dessert menu at the time. The menu changes regularly. Here's a larger photo of the Almond Macaroon, which my DD ordered:

Once again a beautiful selection of foods, thanks to everyone who has added their pictures. I can't wait to start clicking with my camera. :cake:

We went with all the cameras with the intention of taken pictures of every single thing we ate and didn't do it. Just got a few. My sister has some more, but that is all I ended up with. I am going back in Sep. and Dec. and will strive to do better for sure.

Now please be kind, is just my opinion, but am I the only one who notices that the more expensive the food the smaller the portions? Lots of sauce and pretty stuff but little substance. Just has a Emperor's Clothes kind of feeling.

Still making me awfully hungry though. :flower:

Slightly Goofy/Linda (who could do with more of the expensive stuff and less of the big stuff)

It's a little bit hard to tell from the pictures... but at some of the places, the food looks smaller because the plates they use are pretty big. I can't think of any of the "expensive meals" where I didn't leave stuffed!

In the pictures I just posted, the portions are actually pretty big, even that salmon dish! It does look small there, but it really wasn't.

Now, I happen to be a quality over quantity type of gal but my dh is a carnivore extraordinaire. I took him to a swanky place for our 25th anniversary and when the entree arrived, a thinly sliced piece of beef (you could have seen the design of the plate through it IF there had been one) with a smattering of a sauce surrounding it he almost had apoplexy and still talks about it.

He wants H&V and lot of it.

This being true why do I have the weight problem and he does not?? (sigh)

If I had a a picture of a Mickey Bar I would post it. (ahh, now I see why I have the weight problem. LOL)

Whoo Hoo it worked, now I have to load the rest of the pics onto photobucket.

I was also thinking that all those posh meals looked very small. Glad to hear that they're not.

I've loved this thread and have wasted away goodness knows how many hours of today and yesterday looking at all the pictures. I've got a much better idea of the places we will eat now. Only six more days to wait.... :flower: and yes - I will take pictures!

Looking forward to most - the luxury fudges in the sweet shops like Goofy's cauldron. :earboy2:

Hey guys!
Hard to believe we finished this whole Super Bowl Sundae off after devouring foot long chili dogs, super nachos, large fries, beer and buffalo wings!! ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE AT DISNEY!! :mickeybar

After our first day of driving, checking in, and going to Epcot, we needed a little magic. After watching Illuminations from our balcony at the Swan, we put the kids to bed, got sushi from Kimonos and sat on the balcony sipping chilled champange we brought with us. It was just what the Doctor ordered :goodvibes Here is the sushi:

We also enjoyed a wonderful meal at Boma (who doesn't, lol). Here are the famous Zebra Domes:

I'm sorry, but I can't just ignore something as hysterical as the oven mitt. :rotfl2: Where did you get it, and why is it in all of your pictures?
