That mickey doesn't look like chocolate. Is it white chocolate?

yes, sorry, it's White Chocolate and we were able to save it for home and it made it in one piece without melting and we all shared it.

Hola ya'll - I'm headed back to Disney at the end of May and as usual I'm on a budget, I've bid on some Quick and Casual meal vouchers on e-bay, anyway since then I've heard a dirty rumor that they are only for folks staying at the one of the Disney resorts....is this true?
Thanks for any help and advice in advance.

Okay, I have to order one of these. Do I have to call AKL directly? Do I have to order it now? We will be there in 3 days, how much notice do they need? And how much was it? Thanks so much for posting that pic it is wonderful and TIA for any answers :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Great Thread!!!

I called Boardwalk directly and asked to be connected to "In Room Dining" and they helped me out.

The Mickey and strawberries price varies from resort to resort and you can get just the Mickey or just the strawberries by themselves.

My cost was about $50. for both (18% tax and a $3 service fee). I think the Mickey alone is about $25. It's listed at www.allears.com on some of the menus of some of the resorts. I don't see it listed on AKL but that doesn't mean they can get it!

Thanks so much I can't wait till DD see's it

I'm really enjoying all of the pics; thanks for sharing. I can't wait to try one of those sundaes from Beaches and Cream. :teeth:

I am with you!! I just showed this thread to DH and he didn't get it :confused3 Sadly, he also firmly said "You are NOT taking pictures of our FOOD!!!" :guilty: :rotfl:

Don't worry - I was told the same thing. Now, as to whether or not I'll respect his wishes, that's another thing entirely!

Red velvet cake is my FAVORITE! I need to try the red velvet cheesecake. I'm definately eating dinner at the Crystal Palace! :goodvibes

Bluenoser - were the CP desserts from lunch or dinner?

Dinner. They also had soft icecream, apple crumble, rice crispie squares, lime key pie, and a couple of more desserts. They had all kinds of salads, roast, turkey, salmon, rice, pasta, mashed red potatoes (yummy), grilled vegetables etc. The meal was really good.

is there anywhere else at WDW you can get the red velvet cheesecake?
I am trying really hard to not sound pathetic but............. :faint:

Pop Century's Tie Dye Cheesecake actually has a layer of red velvet cake on the bottom as the crust. It is not a graham cracker crust.
