We've just got back from a week at disney. We already miss it a lot.
Well, at least we have some low-quality pictures from my BRAND-NEW camera to be comforted with

.
So here is some of the food we had during our stay:
This is the Fried herb cheese we had at
50's prime time cafe. We thought it was excellent. I never tried cheese with fruit before, and thought the combination was great.
And this is the Brownie Sundea from 50's prime time:
this one we didn't like so much.
i must say I was pretty disappointed with 50's prime time. It almost didn't bother us at all that the waiter didn't play along (even when I left my vegetables- which were gross- untouched). But when the entrees came TOGETHER with the starters, we thought it was a little too weird.
Ok next!
the next restaraunt we went to was
Artist Point.
We both ordered the Cedar Plank Roasted Wild Copper River Salmon. It was NOT good at all. It tasted like sand. If this is their signature dish, I don't know what the rest of them taste like. We're never coming back there. Average food and way too expensive.
Now
LeCellier. We went there twice. For me our first visit was not as good as the second one. I ordered the filet-mignon (lunch), the meat was good but the mashed sweet potatoes were not so good. And I like sweet potatoes. me and my boyfriend both had the beefsteak tomato and thought it was not-so-great, my bf had the NY steak and loved it. These here are the breadstick you've all seen enough of, and the chocolate-raspberry shake, which was good.
The second time we were there i had the burger. It was probably the best burger I've ever eaten. For a starter, my boyfriend had the new Spicy chicken and chipotle sausage. He loved it, and said it was Really spicy. I tasted the polenta and liked it a lot.
My bf had the chocolate whiskey cake, and i had the Vanilla creme brule, which they now serve for lunch. We both loved our desserts.
This is the Vegetable Sushi from the
Japan stand at the food and wine festival.
This is the Florentine from
Earl of Sandwich. The best sandwich I've ever eaten!
This is from
cookes of Dublin. It's the "Doh-bar" deep-fried snickers. It is as crazy as it sounds. My bf thought it was delicious, I didn't like it as much.
And here's how it looks on the inside:
The Apple Turnover from
Main Street Bakery.
The Cheese Platter from the
Ireland stand at the Food and Wine Festival.
The Empanada from the
Argentina stand:
And the greasy-yet-delicious Fish&Chips from the
Yorkshire County Fish Shop. Fun to eat while watching the beatles-cover band!
We didn't take pictures of all the food we had, so to sum it up, thebest meals we had were in these restaraunts:
Raglan Road (amazing bread pudding. I wouldn't have ordered it if it weren't for disboards)
Earl of Sandwich
Kona Cafe
LeCellier
Yorkshire County Fish Shop.
Thats it! no more disney food until 2010 for us!
