Can you tell me a little more about the cheese plate? What kind of cheese is it, was it good? Was the bread included as part of your DDP CS meal? I saw it on the menu and was wondering if it would be considered a CS. I'm def. getting that!

The cheese with the orange outside could be port salut. It's a yummy, mildly flavored soft cheese that is great on a wheatable cracker! YUM.

Mmmmm ....... dessert ...... again, these are from Turf Club Bar & Grill at SSR

My Chocolate Lava Cake (the first of many on this trip!) YUMMY!!!

Anybody else miss the old chocolate moose at Le Cellier? You know the ones with the blueberry eyes, raspberry nose, and spaghetti for whiskers? I know they probably taste the same, but the old ones just looked cuter.

There were too many stickies, so the powers that be deleted some :confused3 . One of the existing stickies includes a link to this thread :)

I think it's perfectly acceptable to post "repeat" food pics. A lot of people may not know about the food index thread and not want to look through all these pages of food porn. Also, everyone takes a slightly different pic so some may be "better" to others depending on what they are looking for!

Besides...I plan on posting a pic of the famous Le Cellier chocolate mousse soon. There haven't been enough of those posted! :lmao: Don't worry, I have other food too to post.

I never mind repeats. :cool1:

Hey heath-and-javens-mom! You "stole" my Rob Thomas! :lmao:

Now back on topic...should I bother to post the same old desserts at Le Cellier? I don't want to bore anyone...

:lmao: WOW...That is too funny---Well you must have wonderful taste!;)

Sorry for the off-topic post but since there are more Rob fans here I have to post it in case there are others who are reading. Matchbox Twenty just finished recording a new album that is scheduled to be released October 2nd and they are to start touring in January!!!

I'll go back to drooling over the food now.

Thanks for the tip Chell! I will have that CD on Oct 2nd!!!!

I enjoy the duplicate pictures. I save them in my collection and then occasionally edit and choose the best ones to keep.

I am taking my laptop this trip, complete with my Food Porn Collection. Instead of just telling my husband where we are going to eat that day I can now show him pictures. He has me order his meals as well as mine and I take advantage of the situation to order completely different things so that we can try twice as much stuff. Since I only eat a bite or two of most things and he gets the remainder he is not complaining.

Slightly Goofy

I made it through this entire thread and now I am starving. I never thought about taking pictures of my food while in Disney, but when we return soon - I plan to take some pictures and post them here. I appreciate all of the pictures because they gave me some ideas on where to eat on our next return trip. Please keep the pictures coming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

This made a great snack for older ds and me.

4-Cheese Pizza from Wolfgang Puck Express in the Marketplace

WDWNikonJuly21404.jpg

Sorry, we were so into our meals here that we barely snapped this one picture of dh's 4-cheeese pizza. It was so yummy that he drove over to the Marketplace in the pouring rain this past Saturday to pick up 2 pizzas (another 4-Cheese and a Pepperoni) for a late night snack in our room. These pizzas are wonderful!!!

Chicken Shwarma Platter

WDWJuly17106.jpg

This was another wonderful discovery this trip. My family was just not into big TS meals in the Florida heat and humidity last week. Thus, we ended up cancelling all but one of our ADRs and snacking throughout the day instead. One evening during Epcot EMH, the 2 younger kids and I split this platter. It was so yummy that we were fighting over the last little bit. Good value and much tastier than the meatball platter I had here during our last visit.

On our first day at WDW, we headed to Beaches and Cream for an early dinner only to be disappointed by a 90 minute wait -- too long for my hungry crew. On Thursday, we returned for a lunch and a much shorter wait -- only 30 minutes. We really went for ice cream, but I wanted a taste of something not sweet. Dh, dd, and I split a double cheeseburger, an order of onion rings, and a Mudslide. Because we told our waitress that we were sharing, she brought our burger out already cut in half and served on separate plates. She also gave us each full sides of fruit, without any extra charge.

The order of onion rings was so large, that is really all that we needed. We ended up eating only half of them, even though they were really good.
