How was the calazone? What did it have in it?

I didn't actually like it that much. I think it had sundried tomatoes and ricotta cheese and maybe some mozzarella. I thought it was too much ricotta and not enough mozzarella, and I didn't love the sundried tomato taste.

But I am Italian so I have high standards. :)

last ones

columbia harbour house - lunch

half tuna sandwich and clam chowder (which being from new england i was so surprised that it was really good!)

Do they still have the bread bowls for the chowder at Columbia House?

hmm... i'm not sure. i didn't see it on the menu, but i wasn't really looking, i saw the half soup half sandwich and stopped right there. :) i'll ask my family if they saw anything.

MickeyMaz, I had looked forward to the soup bread bowls when we went last year but it was reported here and then I saw for myself, they were gone, all gone.

It is a shame as the bread bowl tasted a lot better than the paper cup, I am sure. :)

Hey heath-and-javens-mom! You "stole" my Rob Thomas! :lmao:

Now back on topic...should I bother to post the same old desserts at Le Cellier? I don't want to bore anyone...

Nice pics everyone! The last few days have been extra yummy. :goodvibes

Mouseaddicts -- How was Tony's? I hear very mixed reviews, but your pics looked good. :confused3

I've been there 4 times now (I think) ..... It is a good meal, but nothing spectacular. There are certainly better TS restaurants at WDW. If on the DDP, this is probably not the best use of a TS credit; however, it is a nice, relaxing meal inside the MK right on Main St.

Make sense? :confused3

Yes, we will likely go back. Also - if it means anything, we were able to get a last minute ressie through our concierge on the same day (Saturday).

mouseaddicts, thanks so much for all the wonderful pics! I'm also truly sad to see your posts end, I was enjoying them immensely. I found your alcohol porn shots a few days ago and have also been enjoying them ... hic ... LOL!!

Thanks so much for sharing!

Thanks for your support!!! As I go back through previous trips (within the past year), I'll look for appropriate pics to post & share accordingly. They're all on discs, so I'll just have to look them up! :thumbsup2

Is this cheese plate available on the DDP? It looks great!

Yep--at least as of last August it was. The deal was that you could use 1 CS for one savory item (I think all they had was quiche and the cheese plate), one sweet, and a drink.

The dessert menu:
P1000687.jpg

Make-your-own sundae with vanilla ice cream, sprinkles, chocolate sauce,
and banana chips...child meal

DS(7) & DS(6) both loved these sundaes but did not like the banana chips. They were quite
hard and I wonder how many kids really put them on their sundaes.

Creme Brulee Sampler...Maple creme brulee with carmelized maple sugar and
cinnamon whipped cream. Vanilla bean creme brulee with carmelized maple
sugar and cinnamon whipped cream...$5.99

DH really liked this.

Chocolate “Moose”...Chocolate Mousse rolled in toasted chocolate crumbs with
maple leaf antlers...$4.99

I loved this dessert and so did my DD(2).

:cool1: I finally finished this entire thread. The whole thing :surfweb: and I totally enjoyed every last food picture. Can't wait to try some of the food while at WDW. in Oct. :yay:

Cheese Plate

Can you tell me a little more about the cheese plate? What kind of cheese is it, was it good? Was the bread included as part of your DDP CS meal? I saw it on the menu and was wondering if it would be considered a CS. I'm def. getting that!

I'm not the cheese plate person but one slice looks like a brie or a brioche. One piece looks like Swiss, and I don't know what the orange cheese is (it isn't cheddar).

As for another PP about the banana chips in the Le Cellier make your own sundae..banana chips are hard. My kids eat them all the time. I would guess in a restaurant is easier to store banana chips than regular bananas.

Cindy B is right about the piece on the left being brie. That's the only one I can remember though. And I'm not sure that they actually told me what the cheeses were. I kind of remember the orange one being a soft cheese. For the other swiss is a good guess as Cindy B said.

As for how the plate was--It certainly didn't hold a candle to the cheese plates we had at California Grill and Artist Point. But then again it certainly wasn't kraft singles either. I enjoyed it and thought it was a good deal.

The bread was included with the price of the cheese plate (I think it was like $6-7 OOP) and it was on the DDP. You got to choose one savory item (cheese plate & bread or quiche), one sweet item (any pastry), and a drink for a CS credit.
