Just like to make a note here about the Tonga Toast which is soooooooo good. I had it last year again only this time since I am diabetic the chef did not cover it with the sugar coating that it is usally done with and they served it with warm suger free syurp. They where very hepfull in making my selections so as to be suger free as possible. All the food was excellent as well as service. :cloud9: :stir:

Looks like I'll have to add TONGA TOAST to my list, too! :Pinkbounc

So I just booked ALfredo's, the pic's on here looked great, thanks for posting. I am curious about the sampler platters. Do they still do that? Can you pick any three items? How does that work?
Thanks!

Hi guys
I need to ask your permission for something. You see I was so inspired by this thread that I decided to make myself a sort of picture menu for my upcoming trips, and have put it on my website ( see link in signature, page is called My Disney Dining). I just wanted to check that everyone is ok with me using their images, if its a problem then I will gladly take down any images. Keep up the great pic taking, I check every day for more yummy shots,

Claire xx

I have two questions, Is Kona Cafe on the dining plan? And where is the resturant located at? Thanks :teeth:

Yes it is on the Disney Dining Plan and it is located at the Polynesian Resort in the Grand Ceremonial House (it is next to 'Ohana if you have ever been there).

hey I just did a food tv search and came up with this... http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/show_sp/episode/0,1976,FOOD_9994_22744,00.html

It'll be on again on the 27th at 4 and the 28th at 6.

MM! I have seen it millions of times, but I always seem to miss the beginning! HEH! Disney Food is so much fun!

Claire, I believe you have one of my photos on your site. It's fine with me, but I really would have preferred to have been asked before you put it there, rather than after. Others may or may not feel the same way, but I think it's more polite to ask first.

I do like your site, though! :sunny:

Thank you so much for finding that information :wave2: ...unfortunatly, I'll be on vacation (in Florida but not in Disney :sad1: ) so I wont have time to catch the repeat, but boy did that show make my mouth water. I've gotten an idea though, I'm gonna go back thru this thread and write a list of all the food I HAVE to have on future Disney trips (cuz now, I just go back to all the familiar places I know I like). Ooh, I'm so excited now, usually I just go thru here and make myself hungry, but now I'll have a purpose!

Everything looks so great on this thread! I cant wait to go back in a few weeks! Does anyone know if you can get food to go at Kona? I would love to try the Tonga Toast but I really dont want to sit down for breakfast. I was thinking on either a MK or Epcot day I could swing by Kona to pick up Tonga Toast. Has anyone done this?

Thanks!

OH MY GOSH YOU PEOPLE ARE MAKING ME HUNGRY! I have tons of photos from DIsney Dinings experience, if you have any questions about where to eat ask me. Ive eaten everywhere in Disney. :Pinkbounc :wizard: :cheer2:

Grand Floridian Cafe - Shrimp and Prosciutto Penne Pasta

From the counter, I think I may be viewer # 1,000,000. This may be a new record for one thread

I was watching and thinking the same thing - amazing isn't it. The thread is not even that old.
