Here are bits and pieces of my outfit...can't get it all in one decent shot with the cell and the mirror. I don't posses the skills the teens seem to have, lol. I also forgot to pull out my basket...I have one very similar to Mother Gothel's and I will use it to TOT.

My Gothel costume is complete but no pics...this is dd as Rapunzel. I ordered her a new darker blond wig but don't know if it will arrive in time. Fingers crossed...otherwise, she'll be platinum blond.

It's the second one I bought...my first was flat and greasy looking. But this one feels like cotton balls...in the words of the little girl from Despicable Me..."It's so FLUFFY!!!" Especially once it's cut shorter too...poofs out nice and wide like Gothel's hair.

I got my Minnie Mouse costume finished in time, complete with purse and shoe covers! This was on Sept 20th--had a blast!

We went on the 27th. My husband went as Dreamfinder.

My aunt is making me a dress based off of the picture linked below and I can't wait to wear it next year to MNSSHP. I even have a skin toned dancers shoe so it will look like I only have one shoe on.

I finally got to meet Captain Hook!

We attended the part on the 18th and the light drizzle of rain kept the crowds at bay. We were told that today's party is sold out. The lines were short (20 min to see the dwarfs). My DH only agreed to a costume as long as it was regular clothing, so he was Mario and DS was Luigi. I made my costume, a Wii remote. I got a ton of comments from guests and cast members.

We wanted something easy but Disney for MNSSHP last year. so I made monorail shirts. we wore sunglasses for the front window and used colored duct tape for the stripe. One of the CM's gave our family buttons at the end of the night because we were her favorite costume of the night. Here are a couple photos

This year I'm going as a bed bug for halloween (not gonna be in WDW for the MNSSHP this year). Wearing pj's and slippers with a sign around my neck that says 'Bed's Wanted', maribou 'legs', antennas on my head, and carrying a pillow. I'm a bed bug.

I already have my costume for next year! Not telling what it is, though. We are pretty excited!

I really wanted DD to be Esmeralda at the upcoming MNSSHP, but I botched her costume terribly (I'm a horrible seamstress), and I haven't found ANY authentic looking ones for sale. Anyone have any ideas for a unique Disney related girl's costume? She isn't overly into the princesses (she loves Wall-E with all her heart, but Eve would be kind of awkward to pull off), and we're trying to think of something that won't be prevalent! I'm willing to pay for a custom costume as well, since I can't seem to pull off sewing one myself! Any ideas? It will just be and DD6 at the party, and I haven't even started thinking about whether or not I'll dress up, but coordinating costumes are an option as well. Thanks in advance!!!
