Post your Crocs photos!

I have a pair, but no pics. I want to order a pair for my DS (even though he says he won't wear them...I think he will change his mind!) but I don't know what size to get him. He is almost 9 and wears a 1.5 or 2 in sneakers (usually the skateboarder style, etnies, DC).

The kids Cayman have the following size choices:
M1/W3
M2/W4
M3/W5
C8/C9
C10/C11
C12/C13

So...uh, I am confused. Is the M1 a mens? He is beyond the childs 12-13, and now into what he calls kids sizes. I am stumped!

I received my crocs today! I ordered last week from Crocs.com so they take about 6 days to arrive. I got the Beach Style, size Med. I normally wear an 8 or 8 1/2. I've been wearing them around the house and will try them on a walk around the lake (when I'm walking dog).

What way do you wear the crocs? Strap in front or strap in the back? I'm trying a different way on each foot.

Lisa
If I'm wearing them with socks, I like the strap in back, and vice versa without socks.

Yellowfish and candleshoe.....I own both Airwalks and Crocs....I have to say I prefer the Airwalks. Don't get me wrong, the Crocs are great too, I just find the Airwalks a little softer. As far as sizing (I wear a women's 5) I purchased a size 4 in childrens in the Airwalk brand and I have plenty of space...I could have gotten the 3. The Crocs however are smaller. I purchased the XS 4-5 in Crocs and my toes just barely hit the front. I read in another thread to put them into the dryer for a very few minutes to heat up and they somewhat expand. I did this and they r fine now and very comfy. As far as odor and antibacterial...I promise u could not tell the difference between the two. And I have worn both without socks and gotten them wet.

Thanks Luvthemagic! I may go with the airwalks! I wear a size 11-1/2 womens (usually go 10-1/2 mens) so the 'smaller crocs' would me the women's 12s might be a bit small. :/

Anyone for a blister report on the Airwalks? :cool1:

I ended up taking my 7's back and getting 8's instead in the Airwalks. The really do fit better when the strap is around the back of the shoe.
I am going to head off to Dicks Sporting Goods this weekend just to see the difference between the two. Thanks for the answers!

OK, I've read all of the sugestions and am going to try a pair. My local J.C. Penney's also has them and can anyone say if these are as soft as the real crocs? They are on sale for $14.99 and since I work there I get a discount BUT since I heard the ones from Target and Walmart are not as soft I am wondering if anyone tried the ones from Penney's. Also, do I have to break them in like other shoes? I'm going to Disney in March and not sure if I have enough time to break them in properly. I am going to look in Payless for my DS who is 8 but I think will wear a tie-dyed. Thanks. :)

I really don't think you need to break them in. I hae a pair, and they have become my most fav. pair of shoes :cool2: i LOVE them!! I got them off line, there are a dark green color, I went for a pair with out holes, so the snow wouldnt get in them, but I also have a pair of Komodo's which is an offshoot of crocs, and they run big, but are super comfortable, they arent as soft as my green ones, but work well for me at work. (I work in a nursing home in as a CNA). Anyways, I'm sure you'll love your crocs for DIS, and I'll surely be bringing mine!! :teeth:

We followed the advice of everyone that posted here and paid close attention to the photos ..... thanks for all of those! We (Myself and 2 daughters) went out this evening and found the pink Beach Crocs at Dick's. We also bought a pair of pink/yellow tie-dye knock-offs at Payless. Although they are nice, we definitely notice the difference between them and the "Real" Crocs. Thanks for all the advice ..... WE LOVE THEM AND CAN'T WAIT TO WEAR THEM AT WDW!

Me in my fuschia crocs in front of the castle. I wore mine the entire week I was at WDW with no troubles, now I wear them everywhere :bitelip:

I have had my sage green Crocs for about a year now...wear them everyday. The sole is just beginning to wear a bit. I also 'had' light purple ones but dd, 12, stole them away. She has light blue, and pink Crocs, as well as my purple ones. I also bought the 'holeless' ones for the winter. I found that the snow was getting in with my green ones. I'll be buying another two or three pair soon.
But, cute story....my dd's end of basketball season party was last night. One of the girls had on blue Crocs. My dd noticed right away and the two girls were talking about the shoes. Well, the other girls get in on the conversation, and decide that they are the ugliest shoes they have ever seen. So, I suggest that they withhold judgement until they have tried them. So, they started trying on this poor girls shoes....funny, they all pretty much thought they were the most comfy things ever. One girl kept saying 'but they're so ugly, I don't care how comfy they are'....the other girls told her that comfy was much better than cute!!! Now...that was nice to hear from 12 y/o girls.
Looks like some moms were going to be getting hit up for Crocs!!!

Yes, the M1 is a men's, but it's also the "kids" size 1--that's what kid sizes are, really small men and women's. After you get through the toddler sizes (ending at 13), you start on the grown up sizes.

If your son is wearing a size 1.5 or 2 right now, I'd get him at least a size 2 Croc, maybe even 3. Has he been in his shoe size for awhile now and will most likely go up by the time of your trip? I always err on the side of buying clothes and shoes too big for my kids. They'll always grow into them, but never the other way! Crocs are meant to be loose anyway, so if I were you, I'd go with a 3.

That's is soooooo refreshing! I told my DD that Jennifer Garner wears Crocs, I read....... she has them in every color. So maybe they will be known for fashion as well as comfort!

Well my son just couldnt fit in any of the payless ones and gasp I bought him and my daughter the walmart ones. They look way uncomfortable to me too hard and the bumps in them I know they are supposed to be massaging but in the Walmart ones just look uncomfortable. Well my dd wore them to school day before yesterday and said everyone in the class tried them (oh boy stretched shoes with foot cooties lol). Yesterday she wore them again and we made 3 stops on the way home from school and everywhere we went she got comments on them and no one said how ugly they are. My son has loved looking at the pictures on here with me. I am going to go to payless soon and get my dd another pair and consider one for me. Hubbs said NO WAY NO HOW.

Thanks so very much. Now I know what to do! :goodvibes

Payless has the buy 1, get 1 half off sale going on for a few more weeks!
I bought a black pair of Airwalks for me and 3 different colored pairs for DD.
(There are wayyyy more colors in the kid's sizes... NO FAIR!!!!)
We tested the Airwalk version a few weeks ago walking arround the Mall of America and now we wear them as "slippers" at home too...it is much more comfy wearing them vs. going bare footed arround the house.

Now hubby wants a pair for the "house" only....we'll see how that goes.
Might splurge soon and purchase a real pair of crocs, but the Airwalks are squishy and comfy for now!!!!

The Beach aren't that comfortable for me. Does anyone know if stores carry the caymans or niles?
