Hi Girls! I know Ive been demanding lately with so many questions..but you guys have been an awesome help:worship: So I must ask too much of you again...

I was thinking of moving our DP to the night before our wedding, after the rehearsal dinner. Its looking like this is making some waves for DFs family and causing some stress overall. For us to have a decent "Welcome Dessert Party" for everyone not invited to the rehearsal dinner will be at the very least $4500 bucks, and for 30 minutes of a show and slim pickins of a dessert bar, Im a little less than thrilled about it. Dont get me wrong, Ive dreamed of a DP ever since I found the DIS but Im not sure its in my future anymore...maybe but not positive.

So I got to thinking..(oh boy, there she goes again) and since were getting married on a Sunday at 2:30, Im assuming most guests will be arriving on Friday evening or Saturday morning and leaving on Monday morning, not leaving time for a farewell event (which is okay with me)...So what do you guys think about a "Welcome Brunch"? Is it weird, tacky, cool? Ill take whatever opinions you got!! So far Ive only really looked at the GF Cafe, what other options are there? And what menu did you use and how much was it? With a DP there are so many other costs associated and Im thinking with a brunch it may be easier on the wallets. --FYI were estimating right now about 85 people...Our guest list is at 150 but I havent received very many Pre RSVPs back..go figure..lol.

What do you all think?

So, can I see your menu? How much was it? Where was it? And maybe some pictures just for fun? TIA!!:cutie:

I think the brunch is a great idea! We are doing a brunch the morning after the wedding at citricos at the GF. We went with citric bc it's in the main building. I know that narcoosees is also an option at the grand floridian for private brunches. It's quite a walk from the main building but it is also on the water which is nice and has a more nautical feel over all. We are doing the Florida Coast to Coast breakfast buffet for about 80 people (the bridal party and close family).

This menu is $41.95/pp and you choose two options within each group of items. We are doing

Breakfast quesadilla
Pancakes
Pork sausage
Bacon

And there are assorted bakery items, juices, and teas.

We also eliminated the potatoes from the menu to get it down to $36.95/pp which helps with so many people.

Here is the link to the GF breakfast options if you need.

I hope this helps. Let us know what you go with!
