post your 40% deals here....

First I need to apologize because, being the thread killer that I am, there will probably be no more posts after this one.:sad2:

That being said, I received the 40% off code and booked CSR for 6/2 - 6/5, king room for $126 a night. Looking forward to a few days with just hubby and I.:cool1:

We just reserved 6 nights 9/17-9/23 at the Polynesian, garden view club level, for $334/night (includes tax). :cool1:

My parents received an email for 40% off value resorts, which we were able to apply to our stay at CBR. Since we are traveling a portion of the time with my parents, we are able to book our vacation with the 40% off for the room and my parents receive 40% off for their room. This was unexpected! The rep said we could use this as well, since we are traveling with them at the same time. Even if my folks decide to use a different resort, or cut their vacation short (they may not be interested in doing the 8 days we have booked), we each still get to use the PIN.

Hooray! Saved bunches on our trip; here's hoping for free dining, 9/22-30!!!

AKL Savannah View for $183 (plus taxes) a night for late September.:thumbsup2

When did these emails go out? And it's from Disney Destinations?

I bet I got it and probably deleted it and probably emptied my trash and don't have it any more.

Dangit.

We got AKL standard view for $174 per night (10/28 - 11/1), but we're thinking of changing to a savannah view. It took me three phone calls in order to get this rate (an actual 40% discount), and I'm not sure why that is. The first call was maybe $20 off the rack rate, the 2nd call was a little bit more off the rack rate, and finally last night I was able to get the 40% off! :confused3

zulaya, I received my e-mail on 1/808, and it was from Disney Destinations.

I am soo mad- I still haven't received a flyer or email- I called Disney and the said that they had nothing for my name-- I am ready to cancel my trip for NOV & get my $200.00 back--I will not pay full price for this trip...that is insane:upsidedow -- I tried calling last week-- I will call again & see what is up - anyone else have this problem or an I just lucky:guilty:

more people DIDN't receive a code than those who did...those who did is a small number in comparison . There will be other discounts as we get closer to Nov. I figure by June/July we should have at least seen something public.

i figure, disney doesn't ahve to give discounts, and also don't book assuming that you will get a deal. book at a price range that works for you. if you save some money, then it's a bonus::yes::

After whining about never getting a code on these boards I finally got my first 40% off mailer. We were planning to stay at CR MK view next fall and now we got a 40% off rate for the last week in Oct.

I guess I can't feel sorry for myself any more.

Pop 77.63 night (including taxes) for March 1-5.

BCR 226.12, night (including taxes) for Dec. 13 & 14. Unfortunately the pin code I have was not good for Dec. 11 & 12, so got AAA rate. 320.35, night Hopefully I'll get better rate for 11 & 12th.

We are going to the Poly on the 40% off military rate, but since we've never stayed at the Poly before, not sure if this is a great deal.

Poly, July, 3 adults for 10 nights, standard view, package with dining - $3880

The way I broke that down, it seemed to be around $250 - $260 a night (with tax) including the charge for the extra adult in the room.

Normally we stay at SOG so this seems like a lot to me, but I guess considering the normal price of Disney deluxe resorts it really isn't.

I have already booked- last time I waited & just did a "room only" then when my deal came out I booked as a package...this time I was dumb & booked the whole thing. I'm thinking maybe I should cancel the whole thing- call back a few days later & just book a "room only" and wait for any deals. It's funny that "we are in SUCH a bad economy" that Disney doesn't have to give more deals to people :goodvibes I think that's just being said- a lot of people that I talk to that have gone in the past months keep saying how PACKED the parks are, that they haven't seen them this packed b4--oh well I'll just wait!:hourglass

Pop was $59.00 a night with our code from 11/29-12/4. We booked the room , park hopper, and dining for $1577.:cheer2:

missbeckd, we are booked into the Sports for the same dates and our price was only $49 ($55 and a bit of change with tax). I think that POP is a tad bit more for taxes but I think your bill should be less, if you are using the 40% code.

See you there!

has anyone booked a trip with no discount and called Disney and said they needed to cancel because they didn't have the 40% off code? I wonder if they'd give it away so they didn't lose business. hmmmm

I booked two preferred rooms 10/25 to 11/1 at the CBR for $117 per night with the 40% off code. The interesting thing about it is that I didn't have a 40% off code. I called with information I received by email back in August for a discounted rate for dates through 12/31/09 but the CM couldn't get the info to come up so she gave me the 40%!

:cheer2:

excellent for you! i love when things happen that way. that's a good rate for cbr. i've got to book our dec. trip w/our 40% flyer. i've booked 2 other trips off of it. we're saving lots of moolah!!!
