I feel like a true nubie after looking at everyone else's list...

Enjoyed CSR, but didn't think it would be great for the kids. Tried WL and my boys loved loved loved it! Going Back!

We have stayed at all the resorts and been repeats to all except the values.

Nothing wrong with our stays at the values, we just moved up to DVC and deluxe for our visits.

Our favorite deluxe is Grand Floridian, then Beach Club.

Our favorite DVC location is Saratoga Springs then Old Key West.

Moderate: we prefer Coronado Springs.

The only resort we would not try again is Animal Kingdom Lodge. It did not appeal to us the first time and since it has not changed, we know we won't be going back.

IMO, ALL the disney resorts are magical

5* CR MK Tower View (suprise for family)

4* WLV (blessedly quiet @ the end of the day)

4* BWV (location, location & charm galore)

2* BCV (SAB best onsite pool, issues w/management's abysmal response to insect infestation drops it down...shall revisit & hope to change my opin)

1* ASMu (great pool, enjoyed pref rooms location; they do food court right)

1/2* ASMo (very crowded, pools not large enough imo; wasn't impressed w/food court)

Offsite:

5*HRH (great vibe & pool, cool to be able to walk to park in few minutes)

4*Sheraton Vistana Cascades section (spacious & very clean)

Well GF is my favorite, mostly because of the monorail and the restaurant choices. The rooms are okay, not as roomy as you would want for that price, but nice enough.

AKL comes in second, the savannah view is a must.
The Beach Club was nice, we lucked out and got a free upgrade to concierge so that helped!

I did not enjoy WL as much as everyone else seems to, I think that was mainly the room though, the amenities were great, plus we were spoiled with the Savannah view at AKL, looking out over the pool at WL isn't quite the same.

Contemporary comes in at this point, we had a concierge, which was nice, but the balcony scared me to pieces, great view, but the rusty rails looked like a death trap!! Not sure I would try it again though.

Our first stay was at Coronado Springs, which we enjoyed, although the restaurants were not great at all.

We've also stayed at DLParis, the hotel was really very nice, and the food choices and amenities were very good (an indoor pool was a bit of a must there) plus you could walk to the park. I would put that in the middle somewhere. So in order I would probably go:

Grand Floridian
Animal Kingdom Lodge
Newport Bay Hotel (Paris) - our first Disney resort stay, so sentimental addition (I know OP was probably meaning WDW resorts)
Beach Club
Wilderness Lodge
Contemporary
Coronado Springs

We love all the resorts, but probably would not stay at All-Stars again unless we were budgeting or it was the only thing available.
