Hi all,

BH5 here.

As various threads know, this past weekend was my first full blown on stage production since the pandemic. I have done in person and on film projects since, but nothing for more than a one night concert or a day or two on set.

I have not felt this sad about a show closing since a show I did 5 years ago (and mind you I did other shows during these five years including with the company I did this production with). It was the right time for everything. I have been weeping like a baby since last night.

I could've run this show forever with this cast!

I know many of you were wishing me all the broken legs, and it was a smashing success and wanted you all to know.

Have a great week everyone!

Must be tough to get such a high and then just quiet.
Do you have a cast GM? You can't be the only person feeling this way, maybe start one and do invites for meetups for dinners, drinks and such.

Best wishes for a new something to catch your attention soon.

I'm sorry and hope you do something fun for yourself. I was a theater kid and recall how sad it was to strike the set.

 Awe I have been there. I did one show and I cried during the closing number, cried after the cast party, and cried on the drive home. I still love that cast. There are some shows that just hit you just right. Congrats on a successful run. I hope you have new show soon.

Thanks all.

We all love each other so much we are planning our first post show get together! Definitely the most sappy group ive worked with (and I had worked with some before in the same theatre company this one just was very right time right cast right everything).

The group chat erupted the other night when that viral video of the laundry machine blowing up happened because something very similar happens in the show!

It is always hard-at least this time I had a cabaret performance on Tuesday and am producing another show going up at the end of the month, so between those, work and the fact I am seeing the Parade revival tomorrow I have distractions lol.
