Post pics of your bag you carry into park

I do the same thing and i just wanted to say, take the Baggallini. I have 2 of them in different colors and they always win too. I bought the VB backpack last year (I have more VB bags than any 1 person should have LOL) because I loved it, and did a trial run ith it at 6 flags which didn't work out so well. It was kind of awkward to get into and just not even close to the Baggallini. I bring the VB hipster that I will sometimes use when we go back to the parks at night and I am carrying a lighter load and I want a nicer looking bag if we are gong to dinner, but the backpack wasn't that great at all. All that being said, I always check out this thread to see if anyone else has come up with anything new, it's a ritual for me too.

Thanks for the "review" of the VB backpack! Good to know! I too have entirely too many Vera Bradley bags. I don't carry them day to day, but I travel a lot and they are great travel bags. Unfortunately the travel bags are some of the most expensive bags VB makes. I think they are horribly over priced for what they are so I'm always on the look out for a really great sale! (that's how I justify them...my newest is a weekender in Boysenberry!!:cool1:)

I think I'm going to pick up another Baggallini b/c the one I have has seen a lot of miles. It will be good to have another color as well!

gotta love good deal hunting!!!

If anyone is looking for a Baggallini you may want to try TJ Max if you have a store close by, I saw several there yesterday for $25.00.

Also if you know anyone that has had a baby recently Similac is giving away (at the hospital) some pretty neat sling backpacks (diaper bags). I found one at Goodwill for like $2.50 that had never been used, also there are several listed on ebay. I really like that the strap has a plastic latch/release thing on the strap and it will hold a bottle of water on each side. Love the idea of a backpack so DH could help carry it but I'm a little on the fluffy side and all the smaller ones I have found the straps seem to be short and I feel like I'm gonna have a panick attack trying to get it off. :rotfl2:

I will try to post a picture when I get mine finished, thinking of either decorating it with pins or even having a friend embroidary something on it.

Check this bag out: http://www.eddiebauer.com/catalog/p...~~gpCategoryId=1~~gpCategoryName=EB&viewAll=y

This is the bag that I used for Disneyland last summer and I will use for the World in April. It was big enough...but not too big. I wanted a smaller bag, but then bought a bigger camera that wouldn't fit so I begrudgingly bought this bag and I ended up liking it! I have the picante color... not too neutral.. :)

Thank you! That looks just about perfect! I'm going to see if my local Eddie Bauer store has it!

Just thought I'd pass this along, for those of you considering purchasing a Baggallini for your park bag...

Ebags has a Baggallini sale going on, through Thursday, March 10th... up to 40% off, plus an additional 20% off and free shipping with the code EMBAGG3DAY .

Oh man, I was traveling for the week and just logged back on here today - and the discount is over with - doh! Thanks for sharing and if anyone sees another discount... :)

My husband and I use the Mountainsmith Tour found at: http://www.mountainsmith.com/products.asp?productId=23&categoryId=42&subCategoryId=0&subCategory2Id=0

It is a lumbar pack which means it can be worn on the waist, but it also has a shoulder strap and you can wear it cross-body. It has room for 2 water bottles on the sides too.

It is a little expensive but holds up really well. It looks like ebags.com has it for 20% off right now though. http://www.ebags.com/product/mountainsmith/tour-recycled-lumbar-pack/89036?productid=1343679

I have read and read about the perfect bag for WDW...finally ordered the Baggallini Messenger Bag in Khaki...we are going in 78 days and my bag is supposed to arrive in one week. I plan to have it packed and ready to go. :cool1:

I just ordered the Baggallini Around Town bag the other day, but haven't received it yet, so I can't really comment on it.

In the past, I've ordered the Messenger Sling, but didn't care for it, so it went back.

That's pretty much been my experience with Baggallini up til now, but I know there are lots of people on this thread that have used them for years. I'm sure you'll get good recommendations from them.
So, the Around Town bag came...and is now going back. Way too small for what I need it for. It's a shame, too, because it's a great bag with terrific organizational features.

The funny thing is, I don't even need a new park bag...the bag I used last year worked out perfectly! I just can't resist shopping for a new one, that might be even *more* perfect than the one I have.

LOL...I need help. :upsidedow

Does this one zip up under the flap? I love the looks of it, just like to have them zip, not the pull strings.

Yes it has a zipper, I think the strings are just added detail? I haven't bought it yet I'm buying it this week but I'll let you know :)

I'm super excited about this bag. Just got it today! I havent got to use it, but I have several trips planned so it wont be long before I do! It feels comfortable is super stylish kinda looks like a big belt and holds everything that we usually carry with no problems. :cool1:

Thanks:thumbsup2 Can't wait to hear about it. It really looks like something I would use. My last one tore on me during our trip and I loved it!! It had some great compartments that zipped. Please let me know when you get yours and how you like it.

Oh don't say that! I was leaning toward the Around the Town bag! So tell me what doesn't fit in it. I like a medium sized bag, but I do like it to hold a small water bottle - even if I have to shove it in :)

OK. I have tried so hard to resist the addiction, but today, I fell off the wagon with a thud, and bought the REI Tara City Bag in Coal.
http://www.rei.com/product/805253

It goes across my body, works as a fanny pack, and is a bit dressier in case I take it out for a grownup dinner in the evenig. I am weak, and would need to stay at WDW for about 3 months to use all my Disney bags, BUT I CANNOT HELP MYSELF!

Baggalini Messenger Sling Bag can be had at Amazon from Baggalini for $23 - $39 (depending on color) + $4.95 shipping.

This is a good deal for some, but not all of the colors. eBags is pricing the Baggalini at $33.99. Here are the prices on Amazon:
Black - $24.95
Dark Olive - $30.23
Lime - $23.04
Orange, Periwinkle, and Pink - $30.68
Red - $29.88
Tomato - $29.66.

And while I would LOVE to post a URL, apparently I have not been chatty enough to do so. Grrrr! :headache: You'll have to do a search on amazon for the bag. Sorry.

That is a great deal! I have one and love it for the parks. Might have to get DD one :thumbsup2

We use the JJ Cole Logic Diaper bag. It's small lightweight, comfortable for either of us to wear and it's got pockets for everything. We use the diaper part of it to hold our park maps, it has room for small snacks, and water bottle(insulated), and the shoulder strap also has pockets for small things like spare batteries or camera cards, cash, change, and your park passes or credit cards. To me it's perfect. Here is a pic:

That looks like it would work really well. I would love to see a picture of it ON someone so as to get an idea of sizing and how it hangs.

This is how it looks from the front. Don't have any of what it looks like on the back.

It does slide a little bit during the day, but the best thing about it is that it has a clasp on the front so taking it off for rides is really quick. Here is a pic of it after it has slid a little. still comfy though.
