Post office question...

So have any of you not been able to get your package out of the "package" box? I live in an apartment and we have the communal mailboxes and we had the key for the package box in it but when we went to put it in the correct numbered box it would not open.....so my question is with it being Friday what should I do? Should I call my post office in the AM to make them aware or do I have to wait until Monday? Please help!!!

mailman should be back tomorrow so call them in the AM and see if they can tell you when they'll be there so you can get your package and fix the key thing.

Do you have a super or bulding manager that can open the box?

We called the property manager and left a message but I am not sure if she is in tomorrow, I will check and call her again f she is not in until Monday, but she should have a master key right?

I got the wrong key once - sat out there and tried for 15 minutes and it would not work at all. I wrote a note on an envelope, place the wrong key in the envelope, and placed it in the outgoing box. My package showed up on my step the next day (I live in a development that uses those mailboxes). Do they deliver to your building on Saturday?
