Post Gastric Bypass at WDW

Are you a post gastric bypass patient who has eaten at WDW lately? I read that in the past some people were charged the child's price for buffets and I'm wondering if any of the restaurants are still honoring that. If not, that's fine, but as I can't eat much more than a two year old I'm hoping they'll see fit to charge me the child's price. I'm going with friends who want to go to a couple of buffets, otherwise I would stick to the non-buffet restaurants.

Officially, from WDW Dining, they charge by age and it doesn't matter if there are medical issues such as gastic bypass. I'm wondering if this happens in practice as well.

I don't know when you are going, but we're leaving tomorrow, and I'll let any who want to know when I get back.
I just usally share a meal or eat a small salad, or in case I'm going home afterward, I take leftovers home.

DW had the surgery on October, and we´ll be going on February. Most of the times we´ll share meals, but we´d like to do at least a character breakfest with DD and Dinner at Boma. We´re lookign forward any information regarding this! TIA

I believe you can get something from your doctor That lets them know you had this and then they let you get the childs price i believe. There was a thred not too long ago about this.

I do have a doctor's note, but according to Disney Dining this doesn't matter. I'm hoping the actual restaurants are more understanding in practice.

Disney Dining also advised I should order off the children's menu at regular (non-buffet restaurants), however, I can only eat so many chicken nuggets and hot dogs...
