We sailing on the Dream in August '19 and looking at doing a post-stay at WDW (resort TBD).

Anyone who has done this - when did you arrive at your resort? Is there enough time to do a decent park day, or better to look at other fun around WDW?

DCL buses to the resorts start departing at about 9 am. They usually make multiple stops, so arrival at your resort might be between 10:30 and 11 am or so. Our DD just sailed on the Fantasy, arriving at BWV yesterday about 11 after two earlier stops to drop off other passengers. She still had time for a full park day, hitting Epcot and then Hollywood Studios, staying for Fantasmic. She was at rope drop at the Magic Kingdom today if that tells you something about her park touring style.

They recommend not booking an ADR before 12:30. Last year, we got to BWI around 10:30 after making few stops to other resorts. We arrived at the international gateway around 11:30 without rushing.

We have arrived at AKL Jambo House around 10:30 with no park plans. We didn't get our DVC studio until 2:00PM didn't mind, hung
out at the community room and did crafts and watched Sunday Football.

We have later seating for breakfast and take our time getting off the ship (we use DCL transfers). We usually arrive at our resort 10:30-11:00 am. Sometimes our room isn't ready so we just drop off our bags at bell services and head to the parks. We actually get to the parks earlier if our room isn't ready; if it's ready, we usually go to the room, unpack, maybe change our clothes so it takes more time. So depending on where we're staying and what park we're going to, we're usually at a park by 12-12:30. Since we're not normally rope drop people it's not too much later than we'd normally get there so we get a full day out of it.

We did Disney Springs in the morning and after lunch, went over to the Contemporary and were able to get our room for the day. We did MK the next day.

We usually have early seating and get on the first busses out of the terminal. We always do a park or two. Always arrive well before noon, with other stops at other resorts.

Between 10:30 AM and 11:00 AM if I remember correctly.
