I know its all speculative, but when do you think parks will start booking up for the week between Christmas and New Years? Im a teacher and would like to wait for my summer paycheck in mid June to buy my park tickets, but obviously I dont want to wait too long after seeing what happened for June this year.
And- right now, we are booked on a cruise for 12/27-12/31. If it doesn’t sail, we will go to WDW the whole time, likely adding a day to our tickets and moving up the start date. The day we’ll add is AK so I’m not super concerned about that day, but I‘ll want to shift a MK day from 1/1 to 12/27 or 12/28. I’m thinking we won’t know about the cruise until late September. My thought is to keep an eye on it and once I see DHS filling up, make a call on the cruise, if it hasn’t been made for us at that point. We won’t move DHS from the original planned date (Jan 2).
Yes, I know the parks will be insane. Teacher with sporty kids and my husband gets that week off for “free” so that’s when we are traveling. We’ll make the best of the craziness!
Thanks!
