Can I send a post card from the resort (CBR)? I heard there is also a place to mail them from the magic kingdom.

You should be able to mail them from a resort and I believe there is a place to drop mail at City Hall on Main St. (no personal experience, just from other posters/guidebooks). Be aware however that they will not be postmarked as from "WDW".

in each hotel you will find a postbox that is emptied every day - ask reception its usually there !

I sent a postcard from our resort in 2003. I sent the card at the beginning of our week long trip! I was back at work 3 days before the postcard arrived!!!!

I mailed post cards from our last visit. We ended up staying two weeks so I mailed them in the beginning of the first week. Family actually got them pretty quickly. They called to let me know it arrived.
