Which provides the better deal??? The post card pins mailed last week or the summer codes released this week??

I believe the post card rate is better since it states $59.00 for a value. The discount code is $13.00 off a value, which would make the rate $69.00 based on standard value room at value season ($82.00).

How do I get the code for the $59 a night? I have never stayed on Disney property before so they wouldn't have my name, is it for past guests?

I have often wondered that too - but there doesn't seem to be any real clear answer as to how someone gets a code. We stayed onsite at POFQ this past January and haven't seen one. Stayed several times at S/D but stlil purchased all tickets through Disney. One time several years ago we did receive a postcard code but never since!!

I had some quotes given to me last week for the summer code packages and recieved a post card this weekend so got new quotes. Here is the skinny on what was told:

9/25-10/2 2 adults and DD13 MYW+DDP and 1 day Base ticket

POFQ code 1975.22
postcard 1896.54

POP code 1582.04
postcard 1717.76

These quotes all included the insurance. I was surprised that the code was cheaper than the PIN for the value resort. HTH:)
