We have booked AoA for October 2013 which seems like an eternity.

Stayed at POP a few years back and loved it.

Can you book that far in advance? I tried booking online for June 2013 and it won't let me. How did you book your reservation, if you don't mind me asking.

Here's what I don't get about the planning of this resort. Why not make the standard room section one of the more gender-neutral movies (Lion King or Nemo) so that families of four with boys don't feel like they have to upgrade to a suite to avoid a Little Mermaid room?

I totally agree, although my son probably wouldn't mind the LM rooms, either. The truth is that this place looks like its so much cooler than the other resorts, that people who don't want/need the suites don't want to feel left out.

You can't book online for 2013 until the release the rates for next year. You can call and book a room. Rooms can be booked up to 500 days in advance by calling.

I dont think it makes a difference in which area you stay because you can walk anywhere in the resort. You will see all 4 areas regardless of which one you stay in.

My DS6 loves LM, he also loves sleeping beauty, and bueaty and the beast. The only princess movie he finds girly is Cinderella, as there is no action! If you show them the pictures of the rooms their nopinion may surprise you...

Love this post! Said the same about my DS and got attacked!!! I have 3 DDs and 1 DS and he loves all the movies!!!

I have booked a package deal from the UK for 14 days which includes the flight, accomodation etc. It was through a travel agency with Virgin holidays.

I expect that the holiday companies get an allocation early on

I needed to book so far in advance as the flights can be full very quickly, allready the earlier flight allocation has gone from my enquiry last week. This is because we are traveling on a Saturday so they sell out before you know it.

We have been trying to add one day to our stay in Sept. at AofA with free dining they won't let us.

Has to be at least 5 days to get free dining.

Loving the pictures, showed my girls and now we're booking a couple nights onto the end of our upcoming vacation.

Hi guys and gals!
So excited about AoA! We've stayed at AS Music twice before and now we're booked at AoA for the year-end holiday season! Presently, we belong in the No PIN category. Hoping for a discount of sorts to be released soon! Would certainly make a magical vacation even more so.

Some Disers have stated their concern over the bus situation. Truthfully, both resorts are soooo huge. I cannot see how Pop and AoA could possibly share buses. It would be almost insane. I believe there're pics somewhere on this forum of the bus pick-up areas at the parks, and there's a dedicated pick-up zone for AoA guests. Good thing!

We're really looking forward to see how AoA will be decorated for Christmas. It's always such a treat to visit WDW during the holidays. And with AoA being so new and all, it will make it all the more special!

All I could say is.. I heard that is where the snakes usually hide and there's lizards too.. I would never walk through the bushes.

I haven't read this thread but has any posted a picture of the ceiling leak in the food court? If you don't know what i'm talking about, i'll explain. Around 8:55 am 5/31, right before 9:00 am ribbon cutting ceremony, there was a leak in the ceiling at food court. Not a small leak. Water pouring from ceiling.(like a hose) They had panels of the drop ceiling out. it was a mess. I didn't get a picture but have it on video. Stained panels back up after a couple hours. New ones replaced by next morning/ or dryed.

Also, anyone that purchased the $1000 merchandise gift card/pin set offer from disneyworld.com. It does not work at Art of Animation. They are working on it. Something about the gift shop being linked to food court.

We've added 2 nights in LM rooms to our trip in December and I am *so* *excited*. Can't wait till photos of that start popping up!

The LM wing does seem pretty far away from the main buildings. That's a drag. But like so many we don't need a family suite (there are 3 of us) but the AoA looks so fantastic, we couldn't pass it up!

Does anyone have new photos? The ones I saw of the Cars section are amazing!! I wish we were staying in a suite so we could stay in that area, but we have no need for a suite with just 3 people.
