Can you jump-start a car in the rain? My car won't start and I'm trapped in my home on this rainy day..I think one of my kiddies left a light on....anyway, does anyone know if I can get a jump-start in the rain? Could you get electrocuted??

No worries about jumping off a car in the rain.


That being said, two of our cars have their batteries actually inside the passenger compartment. Jumping either of them off in the rain would be a pain, so I'd wait until a drier time.

yes you can. i had to do it a couple of times. when its raining during the day this is when my son forgets to turn his lights out.
