Possible to Trade In Multi-Day Pass for DVC AP?

It's hard to believe, but your ticket has greater value if you use one day before you trade for a AP. There is a thread here on the DIS but I can't find it.

Thank you DisneyMomOK for asking and thank you Disneynutz for answering! I was just asking my guide about this today and she suggested I upgrade before going to the parks for the first time.

Definitely use it first. That way, you'll preserve you're AAA discount when you do the upgrade.

Also remember that you can use a Pass along 10% Discount along with the DVC discount if your going to be doing so before July31`st

Now someone mentioned they had some issues with Tickets linked to the KTTK card with a package so Disney might be trying to close that loophole or they may have came up against someone that didn't know how to deal with it.
