Possible to reschedule a FP during its window?

I feel like perhaps I should post this question in one of the overarching FP threads such as the ones started by mesaboy2 or andyman8, but I suspect having my question in the thread title may help get eyes and responses.

My question is this: Is it possible to reschedule a FP if you are in the window for that FP, assuming you have not entered the FP queue?

Here is the scenario/reason for my question. I plan to do most FP for headliners for mid-day when lines might be longer. However, on one day we would like to hit Kilimanjaro Safaris right after rope drop and before an early ADR at Tusker House. I would hope that we could walk straight there and have no wait like in the pre-FP+ days, but now I am not so sure. Due to the ride length and our ADR time, even a 25-minute standby could be a problem. I could FP Kilimanjaro for first thing at opening, but would be worried that it would have been a wasted FP if we walk straight there and find only a 5 or 10 minute standby. If I FP the ride, and then show up to find little or no wait, can I reschedule it to a different ride later in the day (same park, I know), even though I am in the window? In the alternative, if I cannot reschedule it during the window of the FP, can I ride standby and reschedule it after the FP window has lapsed?

Thanks in advance to any responses I may receive.

Thanks PRomano and Robo! As a follow-up, can I change the ride in addition to the ride time (i.e. If I can get Kilimanjaro standby, can I change to Dinosaur later in the day, assuming it is available)? Thanks.

Thank you for asking this question. I have been wondering how it works if the the standby line is short and there is no need to use a fp.

Yes, you can change it to any attraction/time in that park that has availability.

FYI cell service and Wifi at the park is extremely slow. I'd use a kiosk. You think you're done and then you get an error message...extremely frustrating. Plus I think kiosks have extra FPs that don't show on MDE or website. Mother's Day 9:10am app and website said TSM all out and got in like at kiosk and people in front of me at 9:25 got them for 7:30 that night....btw it's ridiculous, people complained that they were gone by noon now they are gone before park opens. We had changed from MK to HS that morning. But we still had a blast!
