Possible to By Pass the Preshow at TT

Quick question, is it possible to by pass the preshow at TT? My DS has autism and while we've done the preshow once before, we've since had a very bad experience at haunted mansion and I'm worried about trying the preshow this trip. He has a verrrrryyy long memory

Yes, you can. A friend of mine has a DD who is autistic and loves thrill rides but isn't so great with creepy stuff. They were brought through an altnerate entrance right to the boiler room I believe. I haven't done it myself since my little Aspie loves the pre-show.

Show your GAC to the CM at the entrance to the queue, explaining that you need to bypass the pre-show. If you just show your GAC you'll be directed to a different place than if you tell him that you need to bypass it so be sure to say that.

Not sure if you mean Tower of Terror or Test Track.
The procedure for both would be the same - tell the CM at the entrance and also any other CMs you come to ( and show his GAC).
For Test Track, they may have you hang back as the preshow has ended and just walk thru the preshow room to get to the boarding area.

Sorry, I meant Test Track. We're probably skipping DSH this trip because we want to squeeze in two days at MK. There's really not enough at DHS that he is interested in yet, and last year DHS was the "meltdown" park (bad memories for mommy ). Should have been our stay at home and rest day, but we ignored that and learned the hard way, go figure! Thanks for the info.

Because of your comment about HM I assumed you meant Tower of Terror. LOL! That's what I get for assuming.

DHS does require planning in order to avoid meltdowns, at least for us. Too many shows and slow moving rides means not enough moving around and other stimulation. HISTK playground is GREAT for getting that needed physical activity. TSM is also great since it's sensory inputs galore but the line can be prohibative if you're not there early (even with the alternate entrance). RnRC is a ride we just don't like (only DD12 and I like roller coasters but DD12 has auditory sensory issues and RnRC is VERY loud and it gave me a headache) so we can't use that and ToT goes by very quickly and I really don't want to do it more than once (though DD12 does love it). We don't do long days at DHS for this very reason. It's very hard for my kids to sit through that many slower moving/non moving activities.

I asked to skip the pre-show because being in a mob like that makes me crazy. They just sent me through after the group finished... Not sure that the CMs will always do that, but you can always ask
