Possible strategy for Lightening Lane Premier

Is there any info on current LLPP sold out dates - 12/18 for example would be 7 days from today, is that sold out or future dates?
The only dates that have sold out were Thanksgiving week, as noted in a post above. Nothing has sold out (yet) since Dec. 1st.

I understand, couldn’t I adjust times after purchase - purchase LLMP/SP then LLPP then go back and adjust times?
Yes you can modify your LLMP after purchase but many guests have not found it as flexible as adjusting before completing the purchase step. There are fewer available return time slots to change to later in the morning or beyond..

No parks have sold out so far for upcoming days. My initial guess that I posted earlier is we should expect sell-out days to start this weekend. You can follow the day by day status of LLMP sales using Thrill Data link below:

https://www.thrill-data.com/premier-pass/wdw

The lists now start with January 1st, 2025 which may be confusing so check carefully. The page is organize by park with availability and pricing. And the parks repeat with the sell-out day if earlier then the time of park close at the end of day.

ETA: add detail to first paragraph...

Oh I understand ok thanks! The day I want to book HS for LLMP already has only afternoon for SDD and TSM, both of which I planned on booking so I'm getting concerned, especially since we had planned on hopping to Epcot after HS and wanted to be as quick as possible. I want to book that and also LLPP for MK another day. That's why I was thinking to book HS LLMP first and then LLPP MK 2nd, but you would still recommend LLPP first?

Well I expect LLPP at MK will start selling out this weekend. Only you can decide which is the most important park / day / LL selections your want to prioritize.

You might consider swapping your HS / Epcot day order to be Epcot / HS and only plan to pre-book for HS later in the day to have a better time / chance for SDD, and TSM.

Thanks for all your input and help. Just one more question lol We have 3 days to book, would it be best then to have 3 groups members logged in under different emails with different credit cards to each book one day?

If you want to spread out the workload, then Yes 3 member working on separate specific days and that day's LLPP, LLMP and/or LLSP would save you a couple of minutes and all the stress of hitting the best selections for everyone in your group.

Just make sure that everyone is linked as Friends & Family using their own MDE Adult Account. They have already pre-authorized their payment selections in MDE and they have practiced the steps and are clear on selecting the correct members for the travel group utilizing each LLPP, LLMP and/or LLSP.

Now is the time to prepare and make sure that everyone has a valid ticket already assigned or verify the exact date that they will be able to qualify for LLPP, LLMP and/or LLSP. Finally practice, practice, practice as a group in the same room or on a conference call as you walk through the process.

how do you pre-authorized the payment selections? We have credit cards inputed

You have them entered and verify the expiration date is current and and the CVV (Security Code) is correctly updated. Since many guests don't make monthly trips to WDW they tend to not keep their payment method(s) updated. You can store up to 6 payment methods in your MDE profile. Personally I find it easier to enter / manage payment methods via the web interface to MDE instead of the MDE app.

If there is any doubt, consider deleting the payment option and simply re-add it to your MDE profile. If you are updating your payment information you don't want to wait until the day you want to use it a 7 AM ET while the system and you are under a time constraint with the added stress.

Does choosing rides as top picks move them to the top for when scheduling LLMP?

Short answer is No for your initial selection and purchase.

Now for more details. The old Top Picks were from Genie and they were added to the top of your "Tip board" / "MY Day" screen. With the Tiers there is no way to make a logical grouping. You will see the Tier 1 group first and then the Tier 2 selections.

Dave

Do you mean for per-selection selection? I am not sure it makes much difference since you can only have 1 Tier 1 and 2 tier 2 attractions. What would you want to select in multiple parks?
Some parks even high demand non tier1 rides will be gone before you ride your first ride. So say I want MK in the morning and I plan on rope dropping SDMT, have a Tron LLSP and a Tiana VQ, I could book Big Thunder as my tier 1 and Navi and Safari as tier 2 (sell out fast) at AK and pay for FOP. End the day at Epcot for the food festivals and fireworks.

My family will be snoring (my booking opens Sat). Even a threat to purchase LLPPs didn’t work.

LL premier wide open for 12/25 for all parks.

We are park hopping MK to AK (to minimize crowds and AK has extended evening) so chose to purchase LLSPs instead.

Everything was easy to book (booked high priority first and then went back to earlier days low priority). Even HS (it’s day 8; and NYEE day 10).

Is 12/25 available to purchase? Maybe LL Premier can be bought more than 7 days out. I don't know,,,I thought it was 7 days, but great if more than 7 days out.

Yes still available at this time. No LLPP is 7 days before on-site stay starting at 7 AM ET for up to 14 days just like other Lightning Lane options. My personal view is that more days will follow MK for Monday Dec. 22 toward sell-outs beginning tomorrow. The thing that somewhat limits sell-out's is the 7 day cutoff.

Be careful what you wish for...

ETA: Add 7 AM ET start time info

Yes. Today our window opened for check in 12/21. We booked a 10 night stay so I can book everything even 12/31 (check out day).

Longer trips help, but the cost of a longer trip (make do with LLMP/SP) vs shorter trip+LLPP need to be weighed

It’s 7 days from your onsite check in date. You can book upto 14 days of your stay.
