So Kristen and I had decided to travel to Italy as our next vacation series. Due to the fact that AlItalia is going on strike and liquidating itself we are deciding to go BACK to Florida and film a sequel to our Walt Disney World Vacation 2007 series.

This time it's just me and Kristen (no Dara and Toby) and since we are not using the Timeshare we are on budget. We decided to do the Universal thing......

We've booked our flights, car rental and hotel stay and got the 7 day park option for Universal. We also made t-shirts!

Along with this we decided to do a DISNEY water park and goto a DISNEY park for one day.

Since we did the Disney thing we know what to expect and were to go but as for Universal other then the rides we want to know what other cool events, site, etc it has to offer.

Feel free to let us know the must see's and must do that are not rides.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Glad you decided to do Universal and I'm sure you'll have a blast! As far as events go...that depends upon when you're coming. In the summer, they have Universal 360 which is a laser/light show on the lagoon at the Studios and fireworks. In the fall, Halloween Horror Nights is staged and it's the BEST Halloween event anywhere in the country (they also do the Universal 360 on HHN nights too! Christmas is Grinchmas at Universal (depending on if they are doing it) and the decorations are cool. In the spring, they have Mardi Gras in March and April that includes parades, beads and free concerts on Saturday nights (you have to have a day ticket). The newest show is the Blue Man Group...I haven't been but heard it's really good.

Hope that helps! :teeth:
