Possible Refillable Mug Changes on the Horizen?

Via google, I was looking to see what drinks are offered at BLT & AKL with the refillable mugs other than soda, coffee/tea, I came across this article. While I have not found my answer I did find this very interesting....................................

This is to prevent people like I from bringing my mug back over the course of multiple trips in a year. When I go in February, I purchase the new one (if applicable), and use it again in May, August, and December. This is so they can make more money. I can certainly say that they are not losing money from me when I use my mug all year long. They certainly don't pay $2.39 for a soda!

Thanks for the link I remember reading about this patent a year or two ago, however, haven't seen any changes as of yet.
