Our flight arrives in Orlando at 6:10PM on a Saturday. We will be taking the ME to our hotel. Just wondering what our time frame might be - if we will be able to make dining reservations for that evening. Any guess on what time we might make it to our room? All Star Movies. We will not be going to the parks so it would have to be at one of the resorts. I would like to be able to do one of the dinner shows HoopDe Do or the Poly one but do not think we will make it in time and hate to have to pay up front and miss it. How late can you make ADR for 1900 Park Fare. My DD 3 would love that and will probably be wide awake after sleeping on the plane.

Honestly, after a day of travel with a three year old I would stay right at the all stars and eat in the food court.

I don't think you'll have time to take ME, check in (which you need to do to activate your dining plan on your KTTW card), and get to the Grand Floridian. To get to another resort using Disney Transportation will take at least an hour. The average time for ME is 70 minutes. from the time you land you are already at 8:10 and you haven't checked in. I'd try someting closer to your resort or go to DTD.

We're going to the California Grill the night of our arrival, but our ADR is at 9:30. That coupled with the fact that the CG tends to run late with ADRs, we have a direct flight, with little chance of delays and it is just DH and I to worry about, we are pretty sure (but not 100%) we'll make it.

You probably won't get to your room until about 8pm. Just have dinner at your resort, enjoy some time at the pool and start early in the morning. Just be sure to pack the swim suits in your carryon luggage so you won't have to wait for ME to bring them to the room.

You can book a character breakfast if you like: 1900 Park Fare will have Mary Poppins and the Mad Hatter. If you plan MK as your first park try to arrange Breakfast or Lunch at Crystal Palace. Pooh and friends are there.

By the way I'm not sure why you think a 3yo who knows she's going to Disney World to see Mickey will sleep on the plane...lol..our 5yo talked my mothers ear off for two hours he was so excited and when I met them at the ME bus she bolted for the rear and let me take over. I wouldn't have missed it for the world either.

I guess I did not realize that it would take that long to get to the resort - or I was just hoping that it wouldn't! Looks like we will just hang out at the pool for the evening -DD2 will love this as well! And she slept through our entire flight last trip- both ways, but that was a year ago and she now knows where she will be going so maybe I should not count on her sleeping this time.
