Well, for those keeping score, I'm working at a crappy restuarant. Rather than bore you with all the reasons it sucks, I'll just sum it up by saying that they expect too much extra work for the amount of money we make & other unrealistic demands.

Today I got a message from my teacher from this past semster & he told me that he would like me to meet with a client this week (he'd mentioned the possibility a month ago). I'd be initially working about an hour away, but soon I'd be able to work at home & only have go in for dead lines.

He said that the deadlines are really hard set & I'll be working for at least 40 hours a week, but I'll be making about 4 times an hour than I do now. If it goes through I'll be doing this for 6-12 months & if the client likes me, then it could be a full time gig. He said the client is laid back (people work in sandals, etc.), though I'll initially dress in a dress shirt & slacks.

I'll be using Authorware, which is can be kind of tedious, but I'll enjoy it a lot more than my current gig, plus it will be great for my portfolio. I'm guessing it's a computer based training project. I'm pretty excited about it & hope everything works out.

Best of luck to you Jeff! If the job is right for you, I hope you get it.

Best of luck Jeff, prayers and pixie dust too. :)

Best of luck, Jeff. I hope this works out for you!

Wishing you lots and lots of luck Geof! I hope that you like this new adventure! :)
