Possible December Trip to WDW

We are trying to figure out if we can go to WDW in December. We would be going during the first two weeks so the crowds would still be somewhat light. I have read on the DVC member site that they had Merry Member Mixer during the December months. Do they do this every year? We would love to attend one.

There are lots of things going on in early Dec. Member meetings, Pop Warner, other groups. It's a very tough time to get a reservation at a DVC resort if you didn't book it at 11 months out. Good luck.
