I am looking at using my Allegiant voucher and taking a combo Disney World/SeaWorld trip in either August or September, for a birthday trip(my birthday is August 30). Since my college classes(getting my degree in Psychology and Anthropology) don't start again until 9/21, I have the option of August or September travel. I am looking to travel on a weekend between August 14 and September 20th, due to the Craft Beer Festival at SeaWorld. I was planning a day or two at Disney as well, at least one day at Epcot for the Taste of Food & Wine. Do you think, given the reservation system and accounting for kids being in/out of school, August or September would be the better option if I elect to travel to Disney World this year?

I'd go with September. Crowds are a little lighter because most kids are back in school.

Prices seem to be a bit cheaper then as well, but hard to really say with this unusual situation this year. Was planning to just do a couple days at Disney and a couple days at SeaWorld, but if prices work out, I could opt for a little longer. A lot of moving parts. Two hour flight at least, from where I live.

Yes, you're right, prices are definitely slightly cheaper in September this year.

We love September! Both months are melt-your-face-off hot but crowds are a bit lighter in Sep. that being said, ‘crowds’ may not be an issue either month this year.

September after Labor Day should see lighter crowds. It will be the same basic temperature and humidity for August and September.
