Hi Everybody, I'm pretty new to the boards. Have posted a few questions on a few other forums, but thought this would be the best place to ask what a couple in their late 20's with no children would enjoy best at Disney. I still havn't convinced my DH that we should make the trip, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I can come up with enough ideas that he will like that he will want go. I am a big Disney fan but he's not so much. He's also not a ride person, so ideas about shows and some romantic nights would be great. Thanks a bunch!

Great shows:
My top one is Festival of the Lion King @ Animal Kingdom. Have seen this MANY times and never get sick of it. Other good shows: Indiana Stunt Show, Beauty & the Beast, Who wants to be a Millionaire @ MGM; the World Showcase (each country has something) @ EPCOT; the Hall of Presidents, Carousel of Prog., Mickey's Philharmonic @ MK and lots more...

Outside the parks:
Maybe a romantic dinner @ Cali Grill atop the Contemporary followed by a romantic carriage ride @ Ft. Wilderness

An evening on the Boardwalk - dinner @ one of the steakhouses followed by a few drinks at Jellyrolls

Sharing an Illuminations or Wishes cruise. Info here: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=560160

Hope these start gettin some wheels turning!!! :teeth:

We are in our late 20's (no children, yet) and we love going to WDW. We always stay at the GF, which is a vacation in itself. We go for nice dinners, hang out in Downtown Disney, take in some shows, go for walks around the GF grounds, drink champagne and have "heart to heart" chats on the balcony. We *do* ride the attractions, but we take our time and enjoy being out of the rat race of our everyday lives. We are going back in February and planning to spend some time at the Boardwalk and looking at other resorts...just sort of touring. You can really customize Disney to fit your personalities. There are several guide books out there geared toward couples w/out children.

My DH is not near the Disney fan I am, either, but he can't help but get caught up in the magic of it all and he ALWAYS looks forward to going back...I think he also likes seeing my eyes light up like a child's at Christmas when we pull onto the WDW property!
