Haven't heard much recently about this restaurant. I booked it before I realized it was a signature. How is it and will it be okay with my one year old, assuming she is not having a meltdown?

I've never been there, so I can't say anything about the food/atmosphere, but after looking at the menu and prices, I don't think it should be a signature restaurant at all. Just my opinion.... hopefully someone else whos actually been there can be of more help :goodvibes

It's not a signature; it's not even on the dining plan.

I've dined here twice and although I don't recall seeing many, if any, small children, I would think it would be fine. A child having a meltdown should be removed from any restaurant, not just those considered "signature".

I didn't think it was signature either but the Disney World website said it was so I got confused. :confused3 Also, I only added the meltdown part to avoid the usual banter about children's behaviour in restaurants. I'm really just wondering about the food and atmosphere. We are taking her to all kinds of places ( Raglan Rd, O'hana, Les chefs, etc...) . I have just never eaten at Portobellos. I was just avoiding signatures, like our favs CG abd HBD until she is a tad bit older.

I believe that you are correct, that its NOT on the DDP, but according to Disneyworld.com, it is a Signature Restaurant. Funny how I've actually never even heard of it!

ETA - I think that if you want Italian food, go to Tutto Italiana in Epcot. One credit (If your on the DDP) and its in a park, so to me at least, thats always a plus.

No DDP here. We have done Tutto twice and are doing Via Napoli for pizza another night. We go to Disney twice a year so we are trying to eat at new places instead of all the same ones. I am not inclined to change the adr I was just curious as to what disers who may have been there thought. Thanks
