Hi,
We are traveling witha group of 14 people in August. My Father in Law is 78 years old, and we are concerned about all of the standing he will have to do. I found a great walking stick that converts into a small stool. I'm wondering if they will allow him to carry this on rides (no roller coaster, of course). What do you all think? The walking stick is very small and portable, only weighs 1 pound. For those of you wondering, I paid $23 for it at a sight called www.sportseat.com. The seat is perfect for sporting events or for the elderly. Please let me know what you think.

Welcome to disABILITIES.
I have seen people in the parks with these types of walking sticks and have seen people getting on rides with crutches and canes. I don't think this will cause your FIL a problem at all. Hopefully, someone who has used one will post and let you know their experience.
