Port Orleans-Riverside

Hello everyone..My family and I are considering another trip to Disney soon and I was wondering if anyone had stayed at Port Orleans Riverside? We stayed at Port Orleans several years ago before it was split in two and I was wondering how this remodel, etc changed the place?? For instance, we usually stay at a value resort (POP being our favorite) and we really like the foodcourt because it is quick and easy..does this resort have a good accessible foodcourt as well? Any knowledge on how the resort has changed and good/bad experiences is greatly appreciated! Thanks and take care

Cant tell you any info on the good and bad of changes since last October was our first stay at PORS and it is now my favorite Moderate resort.

The resort is beautiful, the staff was friendly and very helpful and we only had to cross a bridge, walk past the pool and we were at the food court.

Your best bet is to visit the "Disney Resorts" forum. You can search, or just scroll down and find lots of threads about POR.

First, it didn't split in two, 2 combined to be one. Dixie Landings and Port Orleans became "Port Orleans French Quarter" and "Port Orleans Riverside". Thats how you will find them on the resorts board.

This resort is great. No changes since the two resorts merged. The food court is one of the best on WDW property in my opinion.

We stayed their last October and loved it!
Especially the carraige ride.

Just stayed there in May with my DD(5), DS(2), and DH. I think POR has a very good foodcourt. You can send me a email if you have any specific questions.
