I just booked a couple nights in the royal rooms facing the riverside, can anybody tell me what buildings the royal rooms are in?
Thank You

thank you, did you love them, my daughter is pretty excited, we usually stay at a DVC seeing I'm a member but we are trying something different this time

Stayed in them twice and DDs now only want to stay in those rooms if we go to POR:)

We stayed in one on our honeymoon. We loved it! We were in Partere Place. The walk along the riverside was so beautiful going and coming from our room.
You will not be disappointed no matter what building you receive. The grounds are stunning.

We loved ours too, and love the entire mansion section of POR. So pretty & relaxing.

We stayed for 1 night in Parterre Place. It was beautiful. The grounds are amazing. The walk was easy and so much to take in.

If you have a princess girl- she will love it!

I would add the walk can be quite a long way from anything depending on your room. Riverside you should be fine. Our first stay we were in PP on the back of the building in the back corner... so we had a long walk to any bus depot or the main bldg. Still loved our trip, room & resort.

While I'm not a fan of the Mansions at POR, we really loved our royal room, and would definitely recommend one. Our room was in Parterre Place and we thought the walk to the main building was okay.

We've stayed in Oak Manor twice, and requested a room overlooking the courtyard. We thought the walk to the main building was pretty good from there.

DD16 loves the Royal Rooms there, and prefers them to some of the deluxe hotels.

They are very nice but can be a ways away. First time there we had a water facing view upstairs. The way it was situated meant we had to backtrack like crazy to get to stairs then back towards the water for the pathway. I dislike backtracking so it was maddening for me lol.

Second time we were upgraded to a Royal room and put on the ground level with a parking lot view. It was the same room inside (both times we got a corner room), we had a car so it was convenient for that, and since we didn't have to first walk away from the path and then back tonit, it was actually closer than the water view room.

And you don't have to be a girl to appreciate the rooms. They are Royal, not princess. They are done in rich jewel tones that could be in a king's throne room just as easily as a princess's room.

We've stayed several times in the Royal Rooms and love them. We will be there in seven days and we are so excited!

Thank you so much for all the info, my daugher is 6 and I know she will love it.....

We've stayed in a Royal Room in both Oak Manor and Paterre Place. Both times our room was only a few minutes from the lobby and transportation. Maybe about 5-7 minutes to the buses and 2-5 to the food court. I love these rooms and think the location is ideal! I would hands down stay in them again!
