I've been physically attacked too, over guests feeling they deserve a lot more than they pay for. But still I kept my composure!

It never ceases to amaze me how the more entitled people are, the more obnoxious they get. I worked in the service industry for many years while in college and law school. It never ceased to amaze me how people would get physical when I refused to serve them. No matter how much humor I tried to use either. The hilarious part, I'm 6' and 265 - and know my way around the gym.

I can't imagine what cast members feel like dealing with customers that paid for what they can afford and then EXPECT to get upgraded to what they cannot afford. Getting some pixie dust is a addded bonus to what should be a wonderful vacation, not your god given right.

I go to DW often because I know what to expect, whether I'm staying budget or splurging - it is the consistency I enjoy.

Thanks to you and all the cast members for always trying to make someone happy and dealing with rude, entitled guests.

I am not sure, perhaps there is. But it rests mostly on top of the bottom drawers of that entertainment/dresser stand and only overhangs a little from it. I was on it and I am close to 200lbs.

My son ran to front desk to get them he is beaming he is so happy! They teased him ( he is 13) and asked if it was for him lol. He was practically dancing as he came back to us. My...FIANCÉ and I wee frozen on bridge, just so happy. They sent him back with balloons as well, which was super nice

Tomorrow I am buying some bride ears and having today's date embossed on them dream come true to have the true love of my life choose me for the rest of his life...and did so while we are in disney

First night at POR is done! We got all of our requests. 2nd floor, mansions, corner room. We are 8715. So close to the bus stop and bridge. Tomorrow should be even better as we were sluggish due to being up at 2:30 to get here. So far so good. The busses are different (as we have only stayed at POP) it's very chaotic compared to that but totally fine. We are in Disney, it's hard to be upset haha.

Hello All...

Hubs and I will be celebrating our 20 year wedding anniversary in May 2015... We Honeymooned at Disney World back in 1995 ... Our original plan was to do a vow renewal/party for our 20th... Then we nixed that idea and decided to take an amazing trip... While discussing trip locations we were discussing our 20 years together and found ourselves talking about our kids more often than not... With that in mind we decided to go back to our Honeymoon destination with our 3 kids in tow, since they are definitely the best things to come out of our marriage... We are all so excited!!!

A couple of questions... I booked our trip myself through the Disney World website with a PIN we received... I booked a pool room view and I understand we will be put in AB since there are 5 in our party... I was wondering if all the buildings in AB have pool view rooms or if there are some buildings that do not have pool views... Are there certain buildings/room numbers that are designated pool view... Just trying to get an idea as to where we will be located when looking at the POR map...

Also, we are not too picky about building location but we would prefer a 2nd floor, corner room... If I am reading correctly, is the best way to make this request in writing, via fax, 5-7 prior to arrival?

Lastly... When I made our reservation online I remember seeing a window for "special requests"... It was pre-filled with "trundle bed" so I just left it alone... It was not until a few days ago that I thought that I should have probably used that window to advise that we would be celebrating our 20 year anniversary and that this would be a first time trip for our 8 year old son... In going back into our reservation there is no place to put this information now... Is this something I need to call the hotel for or should I just mention it when I fax in the room request???

I have a similar question! We'll be at POR in a Royal Room for my youngest daughter's birthday and haven't found any way to tell Disney that it's her birthday.

Is it in the online check in form? Should I call and have it added? Or just notify the CM when we arrive at the resort?
