Exactly, to guarantee AB with a King Bed you would need to have a child aged 3 or over along with the two adults. Or at least have such a child listed on the booking, anyway. As long as there is no Dining Plan or ticket package involved in the booking that wouldn't change the pricing at all, and you know how easily these little mistakes with quoted ages can happen...No, it's not free (this is Disney after all) and have you seen the crowds in the Riverside Mill around breakfast time?!
I wish they'd just re-open Boatwright's for breakfast to be honest, but I wonder if doing so would mean making changes at the other moderates too. Andre
Does anyone know the price? Is it al a carte? Trying to plan a budget for non dining plan food expenses.

So it looks like we are eligible to check in online for our February trip! When we went to WDW on our honeymoon, my husband and I did online check-in because we didn't have any special requests (we were at the club level of CS), so it didn't matter to us what we got.
This time, we're traveling for the Princess Half and my grandmother is going with us. She's able to walk on her own, but can get tired easily. It looks like our options are Corner Room, Second Floor, Highest Floor or Ground Floor.
We have a royal guest room. Any suggestions on a special request we should make?

We are staying in a garden view Royal room in March with two young children. Is there a particular room request we should attempt to make it easier to access the bus stops? Our last trip we stayed at CBR and ended up on the second floor (no elevators) with a double stroller and two very tired little kidlets trekking back late nights. We would like to avoid this scenario this time!! Thank you!
That's beautiful! Love the colours and the sky.
I just cant get away from POR next stay will be POR for us!
I'm still torn on what to do for our spring 2016 trip. POR calls to me (I've never been), but the BC is my usual fav. My main concern is that when we stayed at ASMu we had the country building, which was the farthest building on the second floor. It was a MISERABLE walk to food, busses, lobby, etc.
So my questions are:
Is there a chance of this happening again at POR?
Would upgrading to a preferred room prevent this?

For both of you, I'd request Oak Manor. Some far parts of Parterre Pl can be very remote.
For floor requests, I'd ask either for ground floor, or near elevator. Each building only has one elevator, in the middle. So room could be pretty far from elevator for strollers or tired grandma.
There is a bus stop behind Magnolia Terrace parking lot, which is next to Oak Manor. You can see it on resort map on pg 1.

Interesting. I was in Country Inn one time, and the walk didn't bother me at all. In fact, I liked being further back from the busy pool/main building area.
Mike checking in one week from todayhopefully lobby will be that empty
.
Nice Christmas decorations!
