It looks like I will miss the MBs and FP+ because we get in on Sept 2nd. That stinks.

I wonder what it would cost at this point to move the whole trip by a day, lol.

Doesn't hurt to check if you have the flexibility.

The outdoor movies will start at 8:30pm and the daily campfires commence at 6:30pm this month.

We are checking in on October 25th and were finally able to personalize the magic bands but have not been able to do the Fast Pass Plus
It keeps saying "one member in your party must be within the days selected"
Hopefully it will work soon

Don't you have to be within 60 days? As of today, you're at 61 days.

Thanks for trying. It didn't work for me. The CM told me before that some of the travelocity tix are old (yet still valid) so the new system doesn't recognize their numbers....guess I have one of those...bummer. At least I can try after I exchange the tix at will call.

Bummer! Did you use your reservation number in the ticket section or actual ticket numbers? The poster I linked you to sounded like they weren't using ticket numbers, just their reservation number. Sorry it didn't work out.

That was the impression I got, too (that the poster was using ressie number), so I tried it. Didn't work, though. I tried any number I found....tix number, ressie number, travelocity ID number, even tried the number on my ME luggage tags....plus, I tried to scan the tix barcode into an iphone as a CM told me to try...but nothing would work. I have called Disney SO many times to try to find a CM who knew how to help....and called travelocity, too, but they said it is a Disney issue.
The CM who was the most helpful told me that he used to work in tne dept that dealt with Travelocity ressies. He told me that the tix don't actually get exchanged from travelocity until 3 days prior to their effective date (travelocity tix have very specific dates they can be used....the exact dates of our room ressie). He thinks that maybe I can go on just before our trip and try it. I hope he is right, but I am skeptical bc I've been given incorrect info several times now. ......Next trip to Disney will definitely be straight through Disney!, discount or not, the couple hundred I saved in Travelocity discount has NOT been worth the hassle.

There is a bunch arriving on Sept 1 and 2--we are also arriving on the 2nd and will be bandless sometimes it is hard reading how excited people are when we have missed it by 1 day. But we will be in Disney and having fun

These are great and I didn't have to download! I cannot wait until November! I am really hoping for Alligator Bayou even though I am traveling solo and don't need the space. I just don't like the style of the mansion rooms.

ETA: Actually it is the exterior surroundings of AB that appeal to me the most. The interior of none of the rooms really grabs me.

Hi - here now. We're a family of 5 in AB section.

Checked in on Friday at 3:30 - did not do online check-in and literally walked right up to counter with no wait. Had requested a corner room - when they showed me our room - they told me that we had been placed in Preferred section 18, even though we had only reserved standard. Location is wonderful, and although not a corner room, is great.

No fridge in room - we did go to front desk today and ask about the credit - and did get $15 per night credited back.

Storage space is really lacking - luckily since we don't have a fridge we have put clothes in that space lol. Requested and immediately got 30 hangers. We use all available space - under nightstand, under bathroom vanity - and we make it work.

Used busses today for first time and had minimal wait - about 5 minutes - to/from MK. Even though we timed it well, I think the return trip to Riverside from MK might have been a longish wait - line was very long when we got there.

Food court is good - new mugs are no trouble at all.

Any questions feel free to ask.

We are one of the early and sand bunch. I have to admit though that I don't think we would have really used them but just NOT being able to is a bummer!

1. Do you know how to get travelocity tix to link to MDE? Is there a certain time when those tix get exchanged from travelocity to disney....like 3 days prior to ressie?
2. We are staying at POR, have an ADR at CRT at 8:05, but park doesn't open until 9. Will we be able to take a bus, or should we take our rental car to make sure we're not late?
3. We will be at MK for dinner evening of mnsshp, but don't have tix for that...ADR at 4:30. Will we be able to stay until 7, or will we be pushed out sooner?

Busses start rolling at 6:30 for early ADRs.

1. I don't know anything about Travelocity and how they run things. But if you need to speak to someone at ME I can arrange that. Just PM me for more info about that.

Are the preferred rooms ever booked solid? We are checking in on 09/01 and could not get a preferred room with our free dining PIN. Would it be possible to request one at check in and pay the difference? Is this something i should fax in about? We don't mind waiting for the room if its not available when we check in. Just wondering if its worth it to try to get one.
