They should make a pin for DIS members to spot them and say hey there I know you lol.

Make yourself a Lime Green Mickey Head (LGMH)

DSC02490.jpg

It's how we Disers recognize each other in and outside of Disney World. I had this one on my back pack for our entire trip.

Venomhatch - In answer to your roll call, our family will be there Feb. 27 to March 4. :yay:

We'll be there Feb 28th to March 11th but don't check into POR 'til Mar 3rd. I'm going to make myself a lime green Mickey head. There's got to be somewhere on these boards that will tell me how right? :)

Go to a home improvement store that sells DISNEY paint (HOME DEPOT). You use the lime green (ALIEN GREEN) one and you just cut out the head. Write your board name on it and then laminate it. Make one or more and attach to your bag, stroller, lanyard. etc :cool1:

I was shocked that DD put a Tiana dress at the top of her Christmas list - that made me even more excited to surprise her with the Royal Room! princess:

Thanks so much! That's easy enough!

Question - we booked a garden room (yay!) for the end of January, it said that is had queen beds, where are these rooms located?

As far as we know at present, Garden View rooms could be located in pretty much any building - including the non-refurbished areas for the time being (just for the few months until the refurb program is completed).

I'd suggest making an advanced request, or ask at reception, to be given a REFURBISHED room as those are the only ones that have queen beds. You would need a Garden View room in Alligator Bayou buildings 36, 37 or 38, or mansion buildings Acadian House or Magnolia Terrace. All the rest still have double beds.

For real Stan? I have all the materials here to make one. How does it look like the Canadian leaf has a bit of gold trim?

15 trips over the last 12 years and I have never yet made a LGMH. I am so bad. Come to think of it, I don't think I've noticed many/any either

Yeah I hadnt seen them before just a few hrs ago myself.

I was sporting mine!!! and a few people who were there at the same time as we were SAID they had them on...

All i did was glue two together punched a hole threw it on a key ring and put it on my bag.. But like i said i didn't seen any others!!! :confused3

I do the same thing; but after my original one got wet, the next year I laminated mine.

Merry Christmas everyone! Hope you all have a safe and happy holiday and New Years. Here's to everyone getting back to Riverside soon!

Thanks for advice about refurbed rooms! We went ahead and changed our reservation to Port Orleans with a request for a refurbed room. We'll be staying in a river view room 1/29-2/4 and I can't wait!!!!!

I originally cut out two heads, glued them together, wrote my DIS name on one side and put my cell phone number on the other in case my bag got lost, laminated them, punched a hole in one ear and used a rubber luggage tag thingy to attach it to my bag. I still have that one somewhere and have used it a few times. Now, (since I write very small anyway), I get two, write all my ADRs on them, laminate them together, punch a hole in an ear, put on a rubber luggage tag thingy, and hang it on my bag. If I have alot of ADRs, I have to use both sides, but if I'm on the basic DDP and only have like 8 TS meals, I can get all the ADR numbers and times on one side and put my DIS name on the other. That way I have my LGMH and all my ADRs together and with me at all times.

It looks like:

5/2 7PM FF 234567890
5/3 7PM Chef's 098765432
