Hey all!

Two more days!!!

Just put in My garden grocer order. Forgot bottled water!!! Does POR sell it by the case? What is the price? It's like $8 from Garden Grocer so if it's about the same, I'll just buy it down there rather than trying to get my order changed.

I ordered it from Walmart.com it shipped out o Tampa as is there already. It only took one day. It was really a good price. I would go that route.

It said delivery est sep11-17 and it arrived on the 11, when I ordered it on the 9th. Really quick and cheap...

Another vote for Walmart! Did this at POP last month and it arrived at the resort within 4 days of ordering. It was under $5, including the shipping.

I figure I should use the address in post #1 of this thread. Should I address it to anyone in particular, like the General Manager or Reservations Supervisor? Thanks.

My wife and I did something simular last fall for a CM that really went out of their way for us. We did it while in the park and had a form for it so I don't know the route to take. I'll sure someone here will, maybe Andre. I fould out that it really helps the cast menbers status and I was told they make a nice deal of it. It's nice of you to think of them and hopefully there is some recognition for their efforts.

Building 7 is one of the buildings in POFQ, did you notice that this thread is for POR? (Although Andre is the one who created the portorleans.org site which covers both, so he can certainly answer your questions.)

I would address it to the Port Orleans General Manager, Valerie Bunting (see http://www.portorleans.org/news.php#130709). I know she appreciates hearing guest feedback, and she will ensure that it gets passed on to the appropriate people.

My family and I spend a week at the Beach Club each August. I also spend 5 days down in the World each December for an annual work conference. The conference takes place at the Marriott Grand but I always choose to stay at a WDW resort because I couldn't imagine being down there and not stay at WDW!

In the past I have tried to save my company a few bucks (they pay for my trip down) by staying at POP Century. I have to be honest, I hate it there. I run around to the parks but hate that when I was back at the resort that I had to either be in my room or the food court. There was really no other place to hang out. This year I got a great rate for either POR, CBR or CSR (POFQ was not available)

So after my long winded introduction here is my dilemma! Years ago my DW and I always stayed at the then, Dixie Landings. We really liked it a lot. Also, we stayed at the Caribbean Beach for our honeymoon waaaaaay back in '91. For sentimental reasons I thought about booking my trip at the CB and request the area we stayed in way back when. When looking at the amenities at the POR I decided to book my room there. The lounge, boat to Downtown Disney, Boatrights and the much better food court all came into play. I am now questioning whether to stick with POR or move to CBR!

I was hoping my POR friends here could weigh in and tell me I am crazy to stay at POR. I think I need a little convincing right now that I have made the right decision! Also, I am a bit worried as to where the Pop Warner kids are staying as I am down during the time they are scheduled to be in WDW. I have heard POR is where they stay.

You are crazy not to stay at POR! POR just has such a relaxed lush feel and if you're alone, you might really enjoy walking the grounds. I'm sure you've heard how fun Yee Haw Bob is. The boat to Downtown Disney would be a nice evening activity and you could walk or bus over to French Quarter and enjoy their entertainment as well. IMO the food courts cannot be compared. Newly renovated rooms don't hurt either! I don't think you will regret choosing POR!

Thanks so much for reinforcing it for me! I feel the same way. Only problem is that I'm a sentimental guy so the CB is drawing me in because we honeymooned there.

Just switched from AoA to Riverside for next week...can't wait, so much more excited now(which I didn't think was possible)
I have always stayed FQ, so this will be a nice little change, especially will the renovated rooms which look amazing. Alligator Bayou especially!!! Overall, Riverside's pluses just outweighed AoA.

If I requested Alligator Bayou, what are the chances of me getting that section? I do not really care where the location is. Though if possible, I would prefer 1st floor and NOT facing the parking lot.

I am a fellow POFQ fan, trying RS for the first time in Royal rooms, must admit I am very nervous, i love my little FQ but it was sold out. I hope we both like RS as well, but I know getting on/off first busses were great.

We where in building 14 room 1407 on our stay and it was awesome. The kids really enjoyed the boat ride to downtown Disney. Our mousekeeper was awesome as well. I cant wait for our return trip in Sept of 2013. I have to say breakfast in the food court was totally crazy we only ate there once the food was great just the amount of people was crazy.

I just got back from POR last week after staying at Pop Century the past few years. The level of crazy at POR's food court ain't nuthin' compared to the crazy at Pop Century.
