The Pina Colava is a regular pina colada with a raspberry puree swirled in it. Very good!!!

I wondered if it was a twist on a Pina Colada; we will be trying this out when there! Just another thing to put on the list that is fun to check off!

You can get them most places at WDW.:confused3 I've had a virgin pina colava many times as my beverage on the DDP. I've had them at Artist Point, Flying Fish, Yachtsman, Konas, California Grill, Narcoosee, and Mama Melrose.

Hm. They sound yummy. I don't drink alcohol either due to the meds I am on. However, a virgin one may be tasty!

Yay! So glad to read your comments...we are getting more excited every day...since we have stayed at CSR several times and loved it, I was hesitant to change it up, but people on this thread have been overwhelmingly happy at POFQ. Since the beds have changes to Queens, there was no reason to not try it out...DH is going to love it so much!!!

I am with you. My DH and I really like CSR, but so many awesome comments like the ones on this thread lead us to try it out this time. Only 2 weeks away, and I am practically bouncing off the walls! :yay:

:dance3: 2 weeks from today! :dance3:
WOOO HOOO!! Me too!!! :D

Quick question to anyone with an answer. I didn't request a certain building when booking through AAA. Could I call now and still request a certain building or is this something I can do when checking in? On that note: should I do online check in and try requesting it then?

Pina Colava's are wonderful! Be sure to try and catch Shelly the bartender at Mardi Grogs. She is one of the best CM's on property!

OK - I am so confused - what is in a Pina Colava?

Is it like a pina colada ?

Pineapple and what in a Pina Colava ?

We just got back and the renovations were great! I asked for building 4 on the ground floor but I got building 5 near the corner right next to building 4 and on the ground floor. It was perfect location! We stayed at the Beach Club before moving to POFQ and really, the only thing it had better than POFQ was the pool and you can walk or take a boat to 2 of the parks. Otherwise we liked POFQ much better, especially for the money. I could still hear the other room's toilets but only when you were in the bathroom. I really can't say enough about this resort. It makes me sad that next time we go we won't be able to stay there, DD will be over 3. :sad1:

I will be awaiting your trip report - would love to hear your perspective on POFQ and comparisons to CSR. :goodvibes

A Pina Colava is a pina colada with a raspberry puree swirl in it.

The drink in the Pineapple (only served at the Poly resort) is called a Lapu Lapu and is VERY potent.

The Pina Colava is very dilute, hardly any alcohol in it. Hope that clears it up for you. ;)

Woohoo!!!, we're inside 2 months and we can't wait to visit POFQ again.

Call your AAA travel agent and have her make the request. You cannot do it yourself; AAA still owns the reservation. You cannot make a building request during on-line check in; there are only 4 options and one (renting a fridge) doesn't apply to a moderate resort.

And if you don't drink alcohol, I can confirm that the 'virgin' version (sans the rum) is excellent too. As is the Frozen Orange Burst by the way, very refreshing on a hot day.
