On the Rehab schedule's on this site it said that PO FQ was closed indefinately and that ONLY alligator Bayou is open...

We are going for our 1st Wedding Anniversary 9/9 - 9/15. We went to WDW on on honeymoon so this trip is very special to us.

I requested a King sized bed, water room in Magnolia Bend, if it is clsoed and only Alligator Bayou open during our stay we are staying elsewhere.

Is this accurate? I read the thread about the pool rehab, and that won't affect us too much, unless our water room face the closed down pool!!!!

We didnt' stay at CBR because we heard it was closing.

We want to stay at a moderate but don't want CSR.

IF all these closure's are correct what are our chances of getting bumped up to a deluxe?

I think that is out of date information from last fall. POFQ closed last fall and stayed closed until May 31st. The mansions at POR were also closed during the downturn in attendance following 9/11. But as far as I know, both are now open.

**I was just looking at the page you are talking about. It is definitely out of date. They show BCV under construction and target date September 2002. It opened last month. Yacht Club Galley is also reopened.

thank you thank you....

I nearly had a heart attack. I'm farily up to date on things and didn't think that could be correct!

We just left there on Tuesday and have to say everything is open and running smoothly. Starting September for the next 4 months they are going to be a full capacity. This was told to me by a friend who works there and confirmed by the very excited servers at the restraurant (Boatwrights). After last year, they welcome the crowds.

We were at POR in February and the boat to Downtown Disney wasn't running - does anyone know if it's running now?

The boats were running the end of May and I am sure they stil are.
When we were there the DTD boats were only running to West Side on the weekend. I don't know if this is still the case.
I have read posts where they saw if a guest asked, the CM would run the boat to West Side. I saw people ask, and that did not ever happen.
So just in case, plan/expect accordingly for West Side.

There were still some mansion buildings closed. We checked out on 8/14. During the bus rides around to all the stops, the mansion buildings closest to the pool were not being used. There were only a few cars at others. Buildings 14 & 15 of Alligator Bayou were also closed for painting. However, if CBR is closing, I'm sure POR will be back open. Good luck!

Sorry! I forgot something. The boats were running last week. Some of our party rode them to Downtown.

Thanks! I hope the mansion buildings are open too, that's where I'm hoping to stay in November. We have a POR reservation, and I requested Magnolia Bend!
