Port Dover.(Its spring)

I bet that every southern dis member knows this place. We went today for our first Footlong Hotdog of the year. A little cool but we sat ouside eating our dogs, while looking at the beach and out into the lake.

my family and I were just talking that we should have blown off our big Easter dinner for some time at the beach...you're right, not too warm but nice and sunny! I really wish we had...that turkey triptophen is a killer...I napped all night and now it's 1:30am and I'm wide awake! Can't wait to get up to Port Dover...hope the water's clean enough this summer!

We bought our newly built home in Simcoe, which is only a ten minute drive to Port Dover so you can bet we spend a lot of time there. Can't beat a Timmies' and sitting on the pier watching the waves.....we actually go every season and enjoy it anytime. We wanted a home near the beach but we didn't want to live in a busy town (summers) so that's why we chose the little town of Simcoe and now we have the best of both worlds!

Glad you enjoyed your Arbor Dog. Port Dover is awesome.

We haven't been in almost two years, but will be down again this June for a visit.

I believe the next Friday 13 th biker day in Port Dover is not till October.

Where did you go for your hot dog? We were there on Friday, and the newly rebuilt Arbour (Our Favorite) was not open yet. It still looked like they had about a month worth of construction to do. Friday was rainy, but the kids still like to get out and go for a drive. Rain or shine we are up for the trip to Port Dover.
