Port Caneveral - Hotel and Parking questions

I still need to book my pre-cruise night ( we leave in a week ) ..... Any recommendations on which hotel to use.

We plan to park at the cruise port so it would be easier for us to leave the port and go to Orlando right away once we are out of the boat.

Should I pre-paid the parking fee or just pay there???
