Port Canaveral to Legoland?

I wouldn't think this should be so complicated, but I cannot find a way to get from Port Canaveral to Legoland for less than $300. We won't have a car, so driving isn't an option, and renting a car from PC to MCO (our drop off when we fly back) is pricing out at $400 or more. Does anyone have any tips or tricks for how we might be able to do this? Right now Ubering is looking the most affordable.

If you don't want to rent a car, that pretty much leaves a private car service or Uber/Lyft. But $300-$400 seems high for ride-share to Orlando -- I'd expect it to be more inline with transport to WDW or MCO. How many guests and will you need a car seat (or more than one)? Those factors can impact the result as well. Also are you going directly to Legoland park or a hotel? You'll need somewhere to store luggage if you won't have a hotel to check into.

It's not exactly to Orlando. Legoland is kind of way off the beaten path, at least 45 minutes to an hour from WDW, and not off the highway but surface roads, and traffic in that area is pretty bad.

Well I don't have the Uber app to check a price, but Google suggests $73 -- so that's much closer to the cost (actually less) for WDW or MCO than $300. So my point was that without further clarification, the OP's quoted $300-$400 from Port Canaveral to Legoland seems way high.

If you could go from PC to Legoland for $73 that would be a steal. It would be 2 hours on a good day, probably closer to 3 hours during daylight hours. Getting a Uber to do that would be amazing.

OK, sorry my googling skills must be off. So if Legoland is that much further, it could be difficult to find an Uber/Lyft willing to do that. So OP's options are pretty much a private car service.

Just throwing this out there because sometimes rental rates really vary...what about renting yourselves a car for the whole thing...fly into MCO, get it, take it wherever you need to go, pay to park it at the port, and then return at MCO. Also there is a convenience factor to this, vs waiting around for Ubers or group transportation. Also, just me personally, I would rather do any park stop prior to the cruise, since we have to fly in at least a day ahead anyway. Whereas it's easier and not so risky to book flights home for the same day you get off the ship.

just ran UBER: PC T-1 to Lego Land .... ~$230 one way .. making $400 for a rental not too bad ....

from the port it's about an hour past the airport from PC. IOW 2 hours then a good hour back to the airport ... .

I'm kinda surprised you can't find a rental for less tho ... I get day rentals from MCO occasionally and usually around $50

There used to be a shuttle from the Orlando area (a mall maybe) to Legoland. I have no idea if it still exists (my lego lover is 16 now), and I know the timing wasn't great (I think it was once per day) but it's an option that I'm pretty sure was cheap.
