do you know if they had some crew from The wonder fly in. Also if the Asian crew will be flying to San Diego to go on the wonder and have have the wonder go to Asia to drop off crew?
Maybe they made a deal with HAL, or Princess who did do a crew swap in Ensenada and headed out for there.Since Disney has never sailed to any Asian ports, it seems unlikely to me that the first cruise crossing the Pacific would be to drop off crew.

No idea about the Wonder, NO one is allowed ashore from the Wonder (or any ship for that matter) they're on complete lock down, rules state no domestic or international flights of crew from any ships, no hotel stays ashore by any crew members, 14 Quarantine mandatory for any one approved leaving the ship for any reason. Also no public transportation, contact with anyone ashore until quarantine period has lapsed.do you know if they had some crew from The wonder fly in. like I said on the other thread. A lot of states are preparing for kids to not be at school full time this fall.
school will be back in session full time before people are going on cruises.
They cannot, actually. That has been the issue. The ships in PC and Miami will get people ashore to get them to the airport for charters, get them there, and the charter will cancel. Then the crew has to go back and quarantine 14 days befoee another try can be made. That is an insane amount of fuel to burn to get their crew repatriated. They could charter jets for cheaper
I was referring to the cost, not the feasibility. They cannot, actually. That has been the issue. You would think a charter would be easy but I guess it is not.
I know, but my point is that they had been trying and failed. The stories I read were bananas. I don't even get how you can be bussing crew to the airport to have a charter canceled from under them, but it was happening.I was referring to the cost, not the feasibility.
