We will be staying at POR in Sept. and traveling for the first time with our 2 1/2 year old DS. Does the resort have bed railings that you can request to prevent you child from rolling off the bed?

Yes. I would request them with your reservations and again when you check in. However, if you are staying in the AB section, one of the beds will have a trundle bed at ground height. My son at 2 1/2 LOVED this, because he thought he was "camping out"!
