Hi all,

Staying at POR for the 1st time nov 10-16!!!

I know there are 4 bus stops....which is the best place to wait for a bus in the morning?

Thx :-)

Honestly? The one nearest your room. The resort is too large to spend time hiking to a stop not near where you are.

If you want to put in a request, request near the West Depot. Depending on how the buses are going around the resort, it is always the first or second stop. Keep in mind that if you want to stay near that stop you will be in the Bayou section of POR.

we used the south (Main) bus stop exclusively but I think next time we will avoid it for the most part. During the peak times there's an awful lot of people who make it thier mission to be the 1st on the bus. It can be irritating if you let it.

also when coming back from the parks, if you don't mind taking a stroll from FQ to POR you do have the option to use their busses. The walk isn't that bad.

Sorry to jump in, but I had the same question! If we are staying between the South and East depots...is one easier than the other? It sounds like the South gets crowded? But is the West the last pick up? Would I need to worry about no seats?

West is the second or first picked up, not the last. The buses start at either the South or the West and then continue to to the North and then the East.

Thank you! I corrected my mistake, I meant to say between South and East (not west, sorry). But that still answers my question about order of pickup.

We used the West Depot when we stayed there in 2012 and never had a problem with the bus. I wouldn't walk all the way over to the main stop unless you were going to stop at the food court or lobby anyway.
