POR to Broadwalk

Okay, we are thinking about heading over to the Dance Hall one evening, and was wondering what's the best way to get to Broadwalk? Is it counted as a resort, and therefore have to go POR-> Park -> Broadwalk, or can you get there direct? Is there any way other than bus, like a boat there?

And how late can you get back from Broadwalk? Don't want to end up partying all night home and then being stranded there (well, at least until we called a cab!)

There are no buses to the BW except from the parks or DTD. So you go to DTD and then to the BW. Or take a bus to DHS and walk over to the BW from the park. Or you can take the boat. Getting back you can do the same as long as DHS is still open. Otherwise, take the bus to DTD from the BW, then get a POR bus at DTD. A cab would be quicker.
